Aaron “Dubl A” Seener (bass), Dale “Dirty D” Pearson (saxophone), and Nik “Anthem” Matthews (guitar and vocals) are the mastermind behind the band. JUNK pulls no punches in their attempt to communicate their message as strongly as possible using a real recording of live birds in Squakin Like A Bird.

Squakin Like A Bird criticizes the vast majority of so-called internet gurus who spread nonsense online and encourage conspiracy theories and doomsday scenarios that can fool many unsuspecting people or lead them down dangerous rabbit holes.

The vocals fit right in, the drums and the instruments all play second fiddle (literally) to the vibe of the song, which, I suppose, is to not take oneself very seriously, and go by what one wants to do.

Pearson’s soulful saxophone on Squakin Like A Bird lends that calming jazz-inspired tone while still clearly displaying a strong hip-hop flair. Even further blurring the lines between genres, Matthews’ electric guitar adds an indie-rock vibe, especially as he leads listeners out with gentle strumming. The Realease Of The Much Awaited EP - Reflexions & Strings By Trevour Amunga

When it comes to rap and electronic music, Hip-hop star Trevour Amunga is sure to bring you some excitement as well as trigger your senses. His EP, “Reflexions & Strings,” is a blend of electronic music, dance music, and straightforward lyricism. The rhythm is excellent, and the lines sound new. As a result, when everything is taken into account, the album is rather fascinating and instantly exciting.

There is enough space awarded to all the instruments present, and there is good control in the dynamics of the various instruments so as to tame their transients, and to let the meat of their sound shine.

Starting from the first track, “86 Porsche”, a rap-first, flow-heavy track that lays its focus on the lyricism and the rhyme schemes, which, for the most part, come off as great, well-composed, and poised. The fun continues in the second track.

Next up is the ecstatic number “Home.” The track’s intro piqued my interest with this bluesy rhythm section. Eventually, when the beat drops and the rap starts, the music is on full throttle and energizes you. There’s a transition near the end where the ambiance slows down, but it returns for one last rap bit with a chill guitar tagging along. This track has a focus on the instrumentation and the beat in the background more so than on the lyricism, going into the next track, “Magic”.

“Magic” is rather a relaxing piece, the entire track is filled with layers of soul and RnB, with elements of detuned guitars where clean vocals and rap bars are executed. It also features Luna Bands and is a stellar tune from start to finish,

The following track, “Stargirl 94,” features spoken rap over a slower, more sophisticated sound that is nearly entirely similar of Chase Atlantic. “Chains,” the final track on this five-part EP, is by far my favorite; it combines elements of classic rock music with rap beats and voice effects that are practically distorted, giving the song an overall edge of anger and edginess that is always welcome.

“I love you but I cant stop yelling at you” this is just a tip off the iceberg when it comes to the great songwriting skills NoSpace possess. NoSpace is a band hailing from Richmond, Indiana prior to the formation of the NoSpace.

The quartet had experience of playing together in a band, this allowed them to really understand each other’s sound, and because they had previous working relationship, they were in total sync.

Each member plays an important role in the groups production and vocals of the group. Noah Ilano (23) who specializes in bass, Jackson Haynes (21) who holds down the keys, Sam Gamboa (21) rocks out on the MPC and has mastered his unique sample chops, and Adam Mathews (19) who is the guitarist as well as the main audio engineer handling the mixing and mastering.

Their latest single Red Flags is a prove of their prowess when it comes to the band’s musical composition, one thing that stood out in the production was the techno beats sailing along with the fantastic drum line.

Not to forget the lyrics of the Red Flags are repetitive, yet short, making it easy for the listener to sing along and jam to it. With just a few lyrics, Red Flags poses as a melancholic song.

Red Flags draws inspiration from our day-to-day activities and this in particular talks about relationship, about how to identify and avoid Red Flags. This song is about knowing the end of a relationship is nearing and the self reflection that comes with that.

Although The Dive is an instrumental track the disposition of the instruments gives the listener a feel of artist’s musical prowess, how he makes a song with no vocals carry such powerful emotions needs to be looked into, I mean if just instrumentals can make you get the chills then I can’t imagine what else he can’t do with music.

Ranger is a self-titled debut Ep a guitar-forward Rock-Soul band hailing from Victoria, Canada. The unison between the quintet makes music production comes freely and naturally, to them, this assertion can be witnessed in Ranger.

The first track “Diggin’ You” prepares you for what is ahead, it sets sail with some smooth vocals accompanied by an enticing instrumental that brings that serenity to your soul. “Diggin’ You” and “Set Me Free” has already been released and are heavily appreciated by music lovers across the globe.

Listening to the songs on the EP feels like being ushered into another dimension that is void of all the noise, hustle and tussle of this world, with themes alternating between love, regret, forgiveness saying goodbye, you can tell the story-writing of the quintet.

Ranger is the passion project of singer-songwriter and guitarist Shane Ranger, his songwriting and storytelling skills are something that cannot be overlooked. How he makes the emotions in the song crawl up your skin and resonates with the listener to feel nostalgic.

The EP has a total of 5 songs on it and spans over 19 minutes 15 seconds, although short-lived the impact the songs leave on you can be heavily felt. The instrumentation of each song sets the perfect aura for the singer to distribute the emotions of the songs across.

If you think all the songs are melancholic, then you are in for a surprise as the last song on the EP is a fast-paced one with a clear description of the capabilities of the band, my favorite part is the majestic soundgasm exposed in “Slow Down”, the irony of it is Slow Down is rather fast-paced, I love it.

Supernova was created under the logos “No one gets out of life alive” and this fact has been boldly etched into the sophomore single of singer-songwriter and producer Craig Douglas Miller who performs under the pseudonym Blueburst.

After more than two decades of being on a hiatus, Blueburst finally dusted himself off and decided to jump back to doing what he found joy and happiness doing most. He got in touch with one of his musical idols, legendary guitarist Marty Willson-Piper (The Church, Noctorum, MOAT) and the fusion gave birth to Supernova.

Supernova is fast-paced, energetic, and full of the explosive drumline, it’s a follow-up od his debut single “Vanish”. The lyrics of the song compliments the instrumental of the song as the lyrics of the song are circled around making the best out of your life because you have only one life.

“No one gets out alive

No one gets any more time”

This is a recurring hook and before you realize you are singing – “After turning 50, I decided it was time to quit stalling and get on with it, damn the torpedoes,” said Miller. “That’s what this song is about. We only get one shot at life, and you’ve got to make the most of things while you can.” – says Blueburst.

How he crafts the lyrics of the song to crawl under your skin is a skill only few artist can ever lay their hands on, and he makes good use of you, his song-writing skills cannot be overlooked, he gives something you can jam to and same time reason with.

The sound resonates with everybody as death they say is inevitable, such a wonderful way to put that ethos.

Our impressions of Love Ghost have been constantly positive due to their professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and rigorous touring schedule in an endeavor to get more and more fans all around the world. Following recent tours of Mexico and Europe, the band is putting everything they have into establishing a reputation, and it appears to be working.

Over the last few years, LA-based outfit Love Ghost have been at the forefront of the emotionally-charged alt-rock scene. With a flurry of rich and diverse offerings under their belt already, many of which racking up millions of streams each, they are now looking to continue their upward ascent as they deliver the powerful new offering ‘Jealousy’.

They only recently released their critically acclaimed studio album “Dark Phoenix,” but “Jealousy” demonstrates that they are still at the top of their creative game. Rarely a second passes without us experiencing the full intensity of the heartfelt drive this song has to offer, making the entire listening experience brilliantly captivating.

Love Ghost Releases Music Video For Ghost Town

Jealousy comes off with hard-hitting mash of guitars and drums, a song with dark emo themes and a super-cool melancholy atmosphere. The lyric, “Why do the ones we love make us so lonely” was a particularly poignant line with a raw vocals both vulnerable and real.

There are some truly dynamic moments in this track, with plenty of scope for gentler sections and huge rises. Clearly, the band are superb arrangers as well as writers and performers.
