Erkan Premieres ‘Constellations’ From His Forthcoming Album

Erkan Premieres 'Constellations' From His Forthcoming Album

Erkan is a brilliant singer-songwriter originating from Ankara, Turkey.

He started out in the music business as a drummer. However, while he was an undergraduate student at the Berklee Undergraduate School of Music in Boston, he learned to play the guitar and improve his singing skills.

The time he spent as a child on the Aegean Sea gave him ideas for his unique style of music, which is a creative mix of progressive rock and rural folk.

Sting, ABBA, Pink Floyd, and Steven Wilson are some of the classical musicians that have had a significant impact on Erkan’s musical style. Modern bands like Iron Maiden and Metallica have also had a big influence on Erkan’s music.

Nevertheless, the progressive rock music of the 1970s has been the most influential on his sound. This was especially true in the early days of his career. His drumming style was heavily influenced by bands like Camel, Genesis, and King Crimson, which were all very important.

When he first started getting into folk music, he started playing around with combining his two primary musical preferences at the same time.

“At the End of My Time,” his most recent release, is an extended piece that functions as an anthology of real-life situations and folklore traditions. The first song, “Constellations,” is a melancholy ballad that is about attempting to reconnect with someone you miss even though you know that it is not going to happen.

The song moves slowly and sounds sad, but each chorus builds to an exciting climax, showing that Erkan is able to create vivid scenes with the music he writes.

Erkan’s work pushes the limits of traditional musical styles while also paving the way for its own tone to develop. He is very good at combining different kinds of music to make a sound that is both familiar and new.

His music is the best of both progressive rock and rural folk music, which have both reached their highest points at this point. Erkan keeps surprising and enthralling people with each new album he releases because of the unique sounds he makes and the powerful words he writes. We are excited to see what he has in store for his audience in the future, and we are looking forward to his next endeavor.

Erkan is a talented singer and songwriter who combines progressive rock and rural folk styles in his own music. His most recent album, titled “At the End of My Time,” is an anthology of real-life situations and folklore stories. “Constellations,” the first song on the album, is a sad ballad that shows how well he can use music to set a lively mood.

He pushes the limits of classic genres to come up with a sound that is both new and different. His music is the best of both progressive rock and rural folk music, which have both reached their highest points at this point.

During a one-on-one conversation, he told us something about the new song that no one else knew. We are very excited about this.

How long have you been making music, and what attracted you to it?
I’ve been making music since I was 11 years old. My cousin started playing the guitar, and I wanted to follow in his footsteps. It was mostly the desire to start a band with my cousin that got me started on making music

What was your first project, who were the people you worked with, and in which year?
My first ever project was playing drums in a heavy metal band in Turkey. The band started around 2010, and I joined them in 2014. I was in high school, and everyone else in the band was a college student.

Who or what inspires or motivates you? And why?
As a songwriter, I find my past experiences are what fuel me the most. Most of my friends are musicians as well, so it can be very inspiring to chat with them and listen to music with them. Sometimes they tell me a story for me to write lyrics about.

What are your friends’ and parents’ thoughts on your career in singing?
I’m very lucky to have family and friends who support me and my music career. My dad always says, “Do what you love and love what you do.”

What are some of the challenges you face in your career path?
Just like everyone else, I experience moments of demoralization and a lack of motivation to do work. It can be hard to work through that, so what I do is focus on the most basic component of my job, which is just playing my instruments.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
It’s a little hard to explain. It looks very easy to suddenly go viral and become huge, but at the same time, I can’t help but feel like a tiny little form in the bottomless, vast ocean that is social media.

Do you have any advice for aspiring songwriters?
The most important part of this job is to trust your craft. Trust your emotions and the music those emotions help you create. Remember, this is your art. You don’t have to make the music that’s trendy at that time. Make the music that reflects who you are.

What does this song mean to you?
It took some time to re-invent my artistic side during the pandemic. “Constellations” is about something that I and most people went through. What I learned when I was writing the song is to accept change, even if it’s changed that you’re not ready for.

What are your hobbies?
I like to cook, read, play video games, and exercise.

What do you do aside from this profession?
Not much. I used to teach for 3-12 years old’s in a STEM education centre but I quit when I decided to focus on my music and only my music

What is one message you would give to your fans?
Hi, mum!

Sarah Navaratnam Spills It All In Her Newest Single ‘A Moment’

Sarah Navaratnam Spills It All In Her Newest Single 'A Moment'
Sarah Navaratnam Spills It All In Her Newest Single 'A Moment'

Sarah Navaratnam is a young singer and composer from Toronto, Canada, who is quickly becoming known in the world of music. She has a great deal of ability in both areas.

She is just nineteen years old, but she has already worked with a number of well-known artists and published a number of her own unique works, so she has already achieved a great deal in her career.

Her body of work shows that she is willing to try out different tones, styles, and types of music. Her most recent smash hit, “A Moment,” is a good example of this.

Sarah wants to try out many different tones, styles, and genres when she writes songs for her upcoming singles, extended plays, and albums. This experimentation is seen in her earlier pieces as well as in the more recent ones.

Her songs all have their own sound and style, which gives her work a lot of variety and makes it easy for a wide range of people to enjoy. One of the reasons why Sarah Navaratnam is regarded as a rising star in the music business is because of the variety she has.

The poignant song “A Moment” digs into the difficulties of a relationship that is unhealthy for all parties involved. The lyrics describe the journey that the heroine takes as she attempts to achieve happiness by ascending the social ladder, only to understand the cost of masking her true self in the process of doing so.

This song talks about how people often feel alone and how important it is to have real connections with other people. The main character in the song is someone who is dependent on a toxic relationship.

As a consequence of this, she eventually started to overlook the many lies that were told to her, and she started to adopt their way of life. The song’s title refers to this process as “adoption.”

This includes trying to hide who she really is by dressing and grooming herself in expensive clothes and makeup so that people will respect her. This action was taken in order for her to accomplish what she set out to do. On the other side, when that relationship was cut off, she was left with nothing and had nothing to fall back on.

The lyrics written by Navaratnam are unfiltered and sincere, and they give a realistic picture of the protagonist’s inner agony. The melody of the song is just as affecting, and it has a memorable chorus that stays in one’s head for a significant amount of time after the last note has been played.

The arrangement of the song is well-done, and it builds up tension in a way that keeps the listener interested in the whole track. The song is a great example of how passion and melody can work together to make a powerful and moving ballad that touches people’s hearts.

It is pretty amazing how well Sarah Navaratnam can use music to show a wide range of emotions. Because of her one-of-a-kind look and voice, she stands apart from the rest of her contemporaries. The lyrics of “A Moment” are a good example of how her music is a mirror of her own personal experiences, and this is clear from listening to the song.

Throughout the course of the song, Sarah muses about the transition she underwent from being loved by no one to being loved by everyone around her, even if it was only for a short period of time.

This is a sensation that may be associated with a large number of different individuals, and it is one of the reasons why the song has connected with a large number of different listeners.

In “A Moment,” she shows how well she can be creative by mixing honesty and denial in an interesting way, using a lot of wordplays, and giving both general and personal information. The pop music that Sarah creates is an excellent example of the creative peak that the genre has reached at the present time.

Her CDs, each of which she writes, records, and co-produces herself, perfectly capture the effort that she has put into making music over her whole life. Her ability to mix fragile and angry parts of her music so well that the listener can’t hear them gives her work a unique edge that no one else has.

Sarah Navaratnam is a one-woman creative force who can create, perform, record, and produce music of the highest quality over and over again. She does all of these things in her own home studio.

Her music has an attractive combination of melodic resolve and brief lyrical suffering, and it expresses a desire to grasp the human journey while accepting, at least in part, the bridges that have been burned along the path. Her music is seductive because of this blend.

Sarah Navaratnam is quickly becoming a well-known name in the music world. The success of her latest single, “A Moment,” shows how talented she is as a singer and a composer.

Her unique style and tone make her stand out from other artists in her field, and it is truly amazing how well she can use music to express so many different feelings.

Her creative take on pop music combined with her emotionally stirring songs never fail to awe and enthral listeners, and she continues to do so with each new album she puts out.

We are excited to see what she has in store for her followers in the future and are looking forward to her next project.

Anticipate The Upcoming Single From The Dolls Are Good

The Dolls are Good is a pseudonym for filmmaker and producer Nadeem Akhtar, using a repertoire of electronic styles, sampled snippets and psychedelic nostalgia, the Dolls Are Good is here to create a retrofitted sound for our collective future, one which can’t neatly be pigeonholed into a formulaic playlist and a sound which is only for the most discerning ear.

With over 20 years of experience in beat making The Dolls Are Good keeps getting better with each production he makes, drawing loads of inspiration from music produced in the 50s through to the 1960’s psychedelia, Shoegaze, 90’s hip hop, and the 90’s UK electronic music scene (jungle, trip-hop, big beat) to music produced in the current day, all this have are a strong presence within his music.

“One twenty-Six (126)” is the upcoming release from Canadian producer The Dolls Are Good. The music, which maintains a retro look, appears to be a jungle track. In order to create a captivating acoustic trip, frenetic rhythm sounds are hidden among varied melody parts.

This was shared during an interview with Mister Styx of Musicarenagh where he shared bits and pieces of his personal life, he also went on to share what his fans should expect next, he said

I’m finishing up an EP with a more mellow electronic vibe a bit in realm of Air’s “Moon Safari”.

What is your stage name
The Dolls Are Good

Is there a story behind your stage name?

There is, I’d been making electronic tunes for over 20 years, but more for private tapes enjoyed only by friends and family or for audiovisual pieces. Just prior to the Covid pandemic I started to get serious about putting some releases out for a wider audience but needed a new stage name as my last one was taken. I asked one of my daughters for a name and her response was my moniker.

Where do you find inspiration?

I enjoy a very broad range of music from the 50s to the current day and all the different types of music that I listen to inform how I make music. That said, 1960’s psychedelia, Shoegaze, 90’s hip hop and the 90’s UK electronic music scene (jungle, trip hop, big beat) are a strong presence within my music.

What was the role of music in the early years of your life? Are you from a musical or artistic family?
I grew up listening to a whole range of music, and although there were no musicians or artists in my family, playing vinyl and having a cassette playing in the car was a standard fixture in the household. This definitely honed my appreciation of music and expanded my taste for music as an art form.

Who inspired you to be a part of the music industry?

All of the 1990s electronic music artists that pushed boundaries with creativity and blurred the lines between played and sampled music. In particular Aphex Twin, The Chemical Brothers, Orbital, Squarepusher, Coldcut, Air and Amon Tobin have been major inspirations.

How did you learn to sing/write/to play?

As with most of the art I indulge in, I taught myself. Initially I was a hip-hop DJ, but then progressed to wanting to make my own beats. I take inspiration by example…Even now when I listen to a track, if I like something in the construction or processing, I make a note of it and try to replicate the element in my own track.

What was the first concert that you ever went to and who did you see perform?
That’s difficult to pin down, but in my teens I went to a lot of Hip hop gigs in the North of England. It was a mix of big names (De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest etc) and up and coming artists…simply being part of that energy was exciting.

How could you describe your music?
Broadly defined, it’s retro-tinged electronic music which playfully hops between styles and genres. I am however, always trying to keep the listener guessing; striking the balance between changing elements and melody.

A little while ago I started to make collaborative compilations with Kynet Jah, Skholezy and more recently Zahkia, under the Sonic Saviours moniker. One of our projects was an updated Rave “concept album”, designed to be listened to straight through, a sort of “clubbers Dark Side of the Moon”.

Describe your creative process.

I try to work on tracks every weekend and adhere to the philosophy that the best electronic music is made at night. I have a vast collection of tracks that never quite get finished, but when I’m feeling a track I can usually get it 90% done in a single night. I then go back to it a week later and get feedback from the Sonic Saviours Crew before the finished tune is put out.

What is your main inspiration?

The city at night; memories of winter evenings in London and driving the UK highways late at night in particular

What musician do you admire most and why?

There are many, but other than those mentioned above, Bjork. She remains an all-round artist with a unique knack for accessible yet abstract expression.

Did your style evolve since the beginning of your career?

Definitely, I like to think that my production skills have and continue to refine.

Who do you see as your main competitor?

I don’t like to compete, I’m just happy that I can put my work out there for others to listen to.

What are your interests outside of music?

Film is my other passion and I’ve been quite successful as a short film maker. I do feel that Film and music are natural, complementary partners in artistic expression.

If it wasn’t a music career, what would you be doing?

I do have another career…but that’s top secret!

What is the biggest problem you have encountered in the journey of music?
The same issue that no doubt most new artists encounter- how to be visible and get promo.

If you could change one thing in the music industry, what would it be?
Streaming; It’s great as a consumer (for myself included) but not good for artists and changes how people consume a body of work. Often the order of tracks is extremely intentional and an album listened to in its natural order is greater than the sum of its parts.

Why did you choose this as the title of this project?
1:26 (am) the middle of the night, when the city is at its most melodic

What are your plans for the coming months?

I’m finishing up an EP with a more mellow electronic vibe a bit in realm of Air’s “Moon Safari”.

Do you have any artistic collaboration plans?

Yes- I’m continuing to work on collaborative releases with the Sonic Saviour’s collective and I’m currently working on a new track with Zahkia (from Nashville) and DreyKickit a hip hop lyricist from London.

What message would you like to give to your fans?

Sincerely- thanks for listening!

Roxercat Introduces You To Their New Ep - Pearls

Following the release of two well-received singles, Roxercat debuts their six-song EP “Pearls.” Roxercat is a progressive rock band based in Nashville, Tennessee, led by singer and songwriter Price Jones, guitarist Stan Lassiter, and bassist Bill Francis.

Various guest musicians also appear on the recordings. Roxercat’s sound features the imaginative storytelling and stellar musicianship expected from such a seasoned group of Nashville creatives. Recorded at Nashville’s Sound Emporium Studios with overdubs at Cat Tracks Studio, the EP was co-produced by Price Jones and Grammy® award-winning engineer and producer Clarke Schleicher.

Price’s gift for storytelling and composition and the band’s polished musicianship come together to provide a very satisfying listening experience. The songs touch on many themes, including life’s challenges in a digital age, love, relationships, the paradigm shifts of life, and living through uncertain times.

The title song, Pearls, embodies Price Jones’ worldview as a simple message: no matter the current status of relationships with the people who come and go throughout your life, you can still wish them happiness. “Life is about surrounding yourself with people that believe in you – and you in them – and always holding on to your dreams,” says Price.

With each lyric, Price takes us on an emotional journey through life, constantly reminding us to stay in our power. Walk away from relationships that don’t serve you, stand firm in your beliefs and resist outside influence, be aware of inevitable changes coming throughout your life and meet them with positivity in the knowledge that our hearts can and will heal. “That’s just life.”

Price Jones began making music as a young girl growing up in Kentucky. She spent summers performing musical theatre professionally across the metro Louisville area. By her late teens, she would discover the classical guitar and move to Nashville, TN, to deepen her studies at Belmont University.

Her relocation to Nashville in 1982 marked the beginning of decades-long songwriting, recording, producing, and composing careers. When Jones was not on the road, she owned and managed Cat Tracks studio in Nashville, where she spent ten years producing and engineering. It was there, in 1997, that Jones composed the rock opera, The Fortunate Few.

Stan Lassiter is a native of Nashville and a classically-trained guitarist. Considered by many to be the city’s premier jazz guitarist, he is committed to the expression and expansion of music. He has performed with some of the best musicians of our time, including the legendary saxophonist Sonny Stitt. He has opened for Spyro Gyra, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Eric Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and numerous others.

Bill Francis, a Pennsylvania native, first picked up the bass at 12 years old and two years later was playing out professionally with local rock bands. After graduating high school, he toured throughout the United States and Central America with the internationally known company “Up With People.”

Bill earned a degree in Jazz Performance at North Texas State University and, since then, has played and toured in a multitude of bands. He has also participated at the Bass Collective in New York City and studied privately with John Patitucci. Bill’s true music passion is jazz, but he enjoys playing almost all genres.

Stan, Bill, and Price have been playing together since 2017. After finishing up a rock opera project they were all involved in (The Fortunate Few: the rock opera written and produced by Price), they decided to pool their talents once again to form an original rock band, Roxercat.

SpünDay is a band that was formed in Tonypandy after Paul, Daf, and Matthew met at a Melt Banana gig in Cardiff. After its inception, the band has played notable gigs around Europe and played at the annual Cardiff Psych and Noise fest last year.

Paul is the leading vocalist and plays the guitar, Daf plays the bass, Matthew blasts the drums. Shock Wave Gang Bang is the current album from Spunday, and their main influences are Melt Banana, Guitar pedals, and absurdity.

Their latest single “While my guitar gently beeps” is a stinging attack on the music industry establishment’s laziness, inability to take risks on new music for fear of upsetting the shareholders and constant re-issues, and repackaging of the same music.

The bass and drums were recorded at one louder studio in Newport with guitars and vocals recorded at The Loft Studios Tonypandy which was produced by Set Phasers to Scunge.

A stinging attack on a music industry hellbent on stifling creativity, ruining nascent musical careers, and unwilling to take risks. Their insistence on re-hashing and re-packaging the same old and.

Bea Kadri Finds Empowerment On New Break-Up Anthem “Liberated”

Bea Kadri‘s new single, “Liberated,” is a breakup ballad in which she doesn’t hide the fact that she’s thankful and feels strong.

The lyrics and music will mostly be about the ups and downs of long-distance relationships.

Bea’s unique way of narrating her own personal stories was greatly influenced by the R&B, pop, and hip-hop music of the 1990s, which she listened to when she was growing up.

Bea’s music has a laid-back and seductive vibe, while her writing gives a more personal look into the mind of the artist.

Bea’s music has a laid-back and seductive vibe, while her writing gives a more personal look into the mind of the artist.

Bea went back to school to get a master’s degree in music business management after moving to London in 2018. At the same time, she worked on developing her own voice and talent.

This song was first performed as a freestyle by the singer-songwriter, and it was during that performance that she came to the realization that time discloses all truths, and, more significantly, that everything occurs for a purpose.

She is no longer emotionally affected by things that remind her of a past relationship. This has given her a more freeing view of love and loss.

Bea finished her first studio album, titled “No Love For The Long Distance” with the song “Liberated,” which was also the fifth single to be released from the album.

It signifies the end of a crucial chapter in her life just before she moves on to the next step, which is the release of her album the following month.

Trippie Redd Releases A New Single ‘Knight Crawler’

Trippie Redd Releases A New Single 'Knight Crawler'
Trippie Redd Releases A New Single 'Knight Crawler'

Michael Lamar White II, better known by his stage name Trippie Redd, is a musician from the United States who raps and sings his own songs.

The SoundCloud rap culture, which began to get attention from the general public in the latter half of the 2010s, counts him as one of its most renowned members.

Trippie Redd is a hip-hop musician who is one of the most diverse and adventurous in terms of music. He is one of the most popular artists in the genre because his music is both very experimental and very easy to understand.

Since releasing his debut mixtape, titled “A Love Letter to You,” in 2017, the multi-platinum-selling, chart-topping rapper, and singer/songwriter has consistently defied genre boundaries in his music. He does this by fusing his melodic take on rap with the frenetic elements of rock and roll and heavy metal.

And the Ohio native, who is just 23 years old, mixes that limitless inventiveness with a potently raw emotional effect, thanks to the insightful words he writes and the subtle but hard-hitting vocal performance he gives.

In 2015, Trippie Redd made his debut with a series of songs that were released online. These songs gave listeners a glimpse of the versatile style that he had developed, which combined aspects of cloud rap, emo rap, and trap-influenced by T-Pain, Gucci Mane, and Lil Wayne with the vigour of punk and metal inspired by Slipknot and Marilyn Manson.

Both Trippie’s mixtape, A Love Letter to You 4, which he released in 2019 and his studio album, Trip at Knight, which he released in 2021, debuted in the upper reaches of the Billboard charts. This is evidence that mainstream audiences have taken to Trippie’s fluid approach to genre and creative expression.

After contributing to mixtapes like 2016’s Beast Mode and 2017’s Awakening My InnerBeast, Trippie Redd released his most extensive effort with 2017’s A Love Letter to You, which debuted in the top 100 of the Billboard 200 albums chart. The sequel, titled A Love Letter to You 2, was released the following year and entered the Billboard 200 albums list in the top 40 positions.

During the same month, Trippie and Lil Wop collaborated on the extended play (EP) Angels & Demons. Before the end of the year, he earned his first entry on the Hot 100 with the tune “Dark Knight Dummo,” which included Travis Scott as a guest artist.

Hip-hop heavyweight Trippie Redd has surprised his fans by announcing that he would release a 25-track album titled Mansion Musik. To date, his music has been streamed more than 30 billion times.

This project, which pays homage to Chief Keef’s Mansion Musick mixtape from 2018, includes Keef not only as an executive producer but also as a featured musician on the songs “ATLANTIS” and “ROCK OUT.” In addition to that, the tracklist delivers a powerful punch with a long list of guest appearances, some of which include Travis Scott, Future, Lil Baby, JuiceWRLD, and Lil B.

Stefano May Partnered With ARPF On His Touching New Single “Hope It Will Remind You”

Stefano May sings and writes songs, and he is also a virtuoso on the piano. He was born and raised in Italy, and he started taking classical music lessons at the famous Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome when he was seven years old.

During his younger years, he appeared on and performed on many well-known Italian TV shows.

The Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (ARPF) collaborated with Stefano May on his heartfelt new single, “Hope It Will Remind You.” This song is a heartbreaking and bittersweet dedication to those whose lives have been affected by Alzheimer’s disease.

The artist has seen the early stages of dementia progress into more serious stages of Alzheimer’s disease in both friends and loved ones, and he draws his passion for this cause from his own personal memories of dealing with Alzheimer’s disease.

May has high hopes that his new single will raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease and bring comfort to those who have it, thanks to the hard work of the Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (ARPF) and the healing power of music.

Stefano is a good singer and pianist who has studied both instruments in the classical style. He uses these skills to make a mix of dynamic piano arrangements and deep, stirring vocals that make people feel things.

My lyricist John Smallwood and I hope it helps people who suffer, as well as their loved ones. This song reminds me to live each day with gratitude, love, and compassion. Prevention of Alzheimer’s is beyond important. It’s an honor to partner with The Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation as they continue to champion new findings and advocate for disease prevention, and I look forward to working alongside the organization to write music that can help people in whatever capacity I can.

In the music video for the song “Hope It Will Remind You,” Stefano’s childhood is brought to life through the use of VHS tapes. In these clips, Stefano is seen developing a close relationship with his father through their shared love of music and tender, affectionate gestures toward one another.

The story goes into more detail about how memories can have far-reaching effects and how this tragic illness has terrible effects.

In the home video footage, Stefano is seen speaking to his father, using ground-breaking and emotionally charged outcries during the chorus.

We applaud Stefano’s commitment to Alzheimer’s prevention and are grateful to partner with him to increase awareness of this disease. In this song, Stefano’s musical mastery conveys both heart wrenching sadness and hope for the future – a significant message for young and mature audiences. Hope It Will Remind You opens the door to healing that every family needs to have.

Stefano has high hopes that by sharing his personal story and showing how committed he is to fighting Alzheimer’s disease, he will be able to help spread the word about how important it is to heal, prevent, and keep memories.

Conor Maynard Releases His Debut Single Of The Year Dubbed ‘If I Ever’

Conor Maynard Releases His Debut Single Of The Year Dubbed 'If I Ever'
Conor Maynard Releases His Debut Single Of The Year Dubbed 'If I Ever'

Conor Maynard decided to become an independent artist in March 2020. He had been signed to a big label for ten years and had a lot of success around the world during that time.

Conor is a really ambitious person, and he has even starred in a Broadway production called Kinky Boots, demonstrating another element of the multifaceted skills he has.

He was one of the first homegrown artists to go from being popular online to being a pop star in real life. This showed the power of dedicated digital audiences and paved the way for many other artists to do the same.

He was one of the first homegrown talents to go from YouTube to being a pop star in real life.

If you watch any of Conor’s early videos, you will immediately be able to see the natural skill he has as well as the enthusiasm he has for music.

If I’m honest, at the end of 2022 I went through a really rough breakup, which led to the decision to take a step back from everything, rather than trying to pretend I was fine,” Maynard revealed. “I took the time to pour it all into the only thing that ever seems to help me get through difficult moments – my music.

Because he became famous at a young age, Conor’s formative years were heavily affected by his role as a worldwide pop star. He grew up and became a man at the same time that he figured out how the music business works and learned everything there is to know about its politics and inner workings.

Conor has never been afraid to try new things or try new things in his career, which has helped him reach new audiences over and over again. However, he has never compromised what speaks to him as an artist and will continue to do so.

During the winter of 2022, pop singer Conor Maynard disappeared from social media, leaving his more than 13 million fans wondering where he was.

The musician and YouTube star had a very busy year. He went on his biggest headlining tour to date, visiting more than 20 cities in the U.S. and Europe.

His new song, titled “If I Ever,” was just released today, and it provides fans with the answers they’ve been waiting for all this time.

‘If I Ever’ is the first of a series of songs I wrote about an extremely difficult breakup I went through last year, It was a unique relationship and hard to write about, because 90% of it took place over phone calls and video calls, which I understand was common during the pandemic.

This song captures my emotional experience following that breakup, and the anticipation I continue to feel about my upcoming appearance in her hometown of Sydney, Australia since in our last conversation, she told me she still hopes to see me there.

Now, after his time away from the limelight, Maynard has returned with the song “If I Ever,” which is the first taste of a daring new slate of content that he expects to release throughout the year 2023.

“If I Ever” is a turning point in Maynard’s creative life. He lets the many skills he learned as a child grow and lead him in new artistic and creative directions. The songs on this album are very close to Maynard’s heart, and he gained a lot of confidence while touring the world.

Occurrence Shares Their Hidden Secrets

When Ken first started making music in the early ‘00s, he couldn’t afford the software so he used free trial versions, which meant he had to record everything to minidisc or else what he made would be lost forever because the trial software didn’t let him save anything. Every song was a one-time occurrence. He always thought he’d change the name. But here we are over a decade later and we are still called Occurrence.

This is how the band narrated how they ended up with the name Occurrence, when asked during an interview with Mister Styx of Musicarenagh. The trio admitted to coming from musical backgrounds where Ken learned piano and played drums in high school because his dad had a drum kit. Johnny was raised with music as his dad is a jazz trombonist.

Cat grew up with this passion to make music that, as a kid, far outweighed her skills at the time. We all had this desire from the beginning. They shared many things about themselves as well as how things have been for them while growing up, what keeps them together amongst other things.

Sex and death, Jasper Johns, The pain of life, Computer screens, Books, Pasta, and Our own love for each other- all these are things the trio believes keeps them together and strengthen them.

More of this was shared during the interview, along the line they touched on their new album “Slow Violence” and what to expect from them next.

What is your stage name

We’re called Occurrence. The band is Ken, Cat and Johnny.

Is there a story behind your stage name?

When Ken first started making music in the early ‘00s, he couldn’t afford the software so he used free trial versions, which meant he had to record everything to minidisc or else what he made would be lost forever because the trial software didn’t let him save anything. Every song was a one-time occurrence. He always thought he’d change the name. But here we are over a decade later and we are still called Occurrence.

Where do you find inspiration?

Sex and death. Jasper Johns. The pain of life. Computer screens. Books. Pasta. Our own love for each other.

What was the role of music in the early years of your life?

It was everything. For Ken, it defined his identity. For Cat and Johnny, they always knew they were singers.

Are you from a musical or artistic family?

We all come from musical backgrounds. Ken learned piano and played drums in high school because his dad had a drum kit. Johnny was raised with music as long as he can remember. His dad is a jazz trombonist.

Occurrence Shares Their Hidden Secrets

We all come from musical backgrounds.

Cat grew up with this passion to make music that, as a kid, far outweighed her skills at the time. We all had this desire from the beginning.

Who inspired you to be a part of the music industry?

I’m not sure we want to be part of the industry, but we want to make music and the music industry is a necessary evil in achieving that.

How did you learn to sing/write/to play?

Ken will let everyone know when he learns to play an instrument well. Cat and Johnny were singing from the time they could talk. Cat took years of piano and flute lessons, and has dabbled in guitar, ukelele and drums, with varying degrees of success.

What was the first concert that you ever went to and who did you see perform?

Ken’s first concert was The Monkees. He also saw Yes and Whitesnake the same month. Cat’s first concert as a child was the Beach Boys during their “Kokomo” era. It was just OK.

How could you describe your music?

Nostalgic electro pop.

Describe your creative process.

Ken often writes a demo, a piece of music and shares it with Cat or Johnny, depending on whose voice he starts to hear as he was recording. From there, they write lyrics. Then we record them and rearrange the music or re-record the music, or keep a 4 bar loop, or start over. There are lots of dark nights of the soul. Then eventually there is a song.

What is your main inspiration?

Fear of death. That, and the desire for more fancy candles.

What musician do you admire most and why?

Thom Yorke for his voice, the 1975 for the WTF-ness, and Trent Reznor for his intelligence.

Did your style evolve since the beginning of your career?

Occurrence was far more experimental when we started, less song-based in the beginning. But as we have developed into more of a band, we moved towards making more accessible songs.

While keeping our weird edge. What’s great is that Ken’s demos always push Cat and Johnny to redefine what a melody can be, which makes for some really interesting pieces.

Who do you see as your main competitor?

Ourselves.

What are your interests outside of music?

Ken writes plays. Cat writes and does voiceovers.. Johnny explores his love of improvisational dance.

If it wasn’t a music career, what would you be doing?

Wait, this is a career?

What is the biggest problem you have encountered in the journey of music?

Too much noise, hard to be heard.

If you could change one thing in the music industry, what would it be?

The exploitation of artists. But that’s always been true..

Why did you choose this as the title of this project?

The new album is called SLOW VIOLENCE. The title comes from a book by Rob Nixon. He defines slow violence as “a violence that occurs gradually and out of sight, a violence of delayed destruction that is dispersed over space and time, an attritional violence that is typically not viewed as violence at all.”

Though Nixon is talking about environmental destruction, we thought of it as an apt metaphor for our lives, the small and slow destructive events that make us who we are.

What are your plans for the coming months?

We will be releasing more singles, then the album drops on April 7th.

Do you have any artistic collaboration plans

We are collaborating with Dan Safer on a dance theater piece inspired by our new album that opens at MIT the same weekend as our album release. It is set in a series of hotel rooms. There will be bad paintings.

What message would you like to give to your fans?

We are so lucky to have people that care about our music. We are forever grateful.

The House Flies Drops New EP Titled - Glimmer EP

Glimmer EP is the first release produced by the band “The House Flies”, the Ep has a total of 4 songs which spans over 16 minutes 45 secs. Glimmer EP is a side project of the members of the grunge metal act, Murnau.

This project is to pave way for their upcoming full-length album, which the band is working. Glimmer Ep is a collection of post punk, gothic, shoegaze, metal, it is surprising the band can group all these genres and put them together to form a masterpiece.

The four songs on the EP are psychedelic, playing a loud and atmospheric mixture of post punk and grunge metal.

grazed with melancholy lyrics accompanied with riff raff guitars. The House Flies take influence from goth and death rock legends. Bass and drum driven with plenty of atmosphere.

The EP was inspired by 80’s post punk music, the track Sequin is a reworking of a song Alex wrote nearly 20 years ago for the band Far From Words. All the songs were recorded in Alex’s basement, mixed by RossMixes and mastered by Golden Mastering.

“The House Flies have a vision and this EP, Glimmer, is that vision distilled down into four tracks. As we continue the project and begin writing our first full-length, these initial recordings will guide us and be elaborated on as we take the project further into new directions. I don’t know the details of what kinds of music different insects like, but I think there’s a few flies out there who would give this album a spin.” – Alex Riggen

Singing and speaking in English, French, and Arabic, Sabrina Bellaouel taps into myriad influences: from religion to spirituality, astrology to club culture, romance, the body, and self love. Creating a balance between places, identities, and sounds is a huge part of the charm of Al Hadr.

Trust is the 11th song off her upcoming debut album which is expected to be released on March 3rd, 2023. The trust storyline was taken from the story of Aladdin and Princess Jasmine, Sabrina took a portion of the movie, that carried a lot of lessons and carefully put them into a song and graced it with her soothing voice.

Being the only Arab princess in all of Disney, I wanted to change the scenario. There’s this great scene where Al reaches out to her and says, “Do you trust me? In my script, she doesn’t trust anyone. The character of Jasmine is interesting to me because she is fighting against some of the traditions of a society that is limiting for women of that time. She wants to be heard, not just seen. She has the makings of a sultana in her own right. Says Sabrina

— Al Hadr, a 13-track album featuring collaborations with dance producer Basile 3, experimental club DJ and writer Crystallmess, jazz musician Monomite, and pop singer Bonnie Banane, is the French-Algerian producer and vocalist’s unique style of electronic R&B.

Sohne Mannheims Releases Captivating Visuals For Keine Eile

Instead of depending on autotune gimmicks, the new SÖHNE MANNHEIMS developed their own sound and are reinventing the future with multi-voice soul vocals evocative of the Motown era. This classic and independent pop idea is appealing, feels powerful, and is festival-worthy.

The iconic german Pop-Band are not chasing trends, but rather defining their own sound and going full force with what they do best: making great music, making their own rules and living by their own rhythm.

In “Keine Eile,” each singer performs his own verse, with voices merging in the chorus to create the characteristic SÖHNE MANNHEIMS wall of sound that makes the single a one-of-a-kind in the current pop landscape.

The iconic, multi-voiced singing of the SÖHNE MANNHEIMS is prominent, harmonious, unique, and unmistakable. Dominic Sanz, Karim Amun, Michael Klimas, and Giuseppe “Gastone” Porrello each possess a great voice and bring their own tone and style to the table.

The release of their long-awaited seventh studio album is scheduled for 2023 and the new single showcases what sets this band apart from others. The SÖHNE MANNHEIMS are in no hurry just like the title of their latest song.
