Offdaze Throws You off With Space Invaders

When I saw the title “Space Invaders” I knew it was going to be a direct hit, and guess what, it’s sure is a hit. Offdaze is a duo that has been making music together since 2014, and you can tell the sync between them in their sound. When you Preston Dill and Andrew Krause combine their magical powers you get Offdaze.

The beginning of Space Invaders tells it all about the type of music you are being ushered into, it starts off with a low tone and a low voice that complements the instrumentation of the song. This is a song that does magic to the human brain.

Offdaze really put in work to produce such a tune that is both psychedelic and cathartic, a mind-blowing single that makes you catch goosebumps. Preston Dill’s vocal prowess was shamelessly displayed over the 3 minutes 09 seconds song, you can feel the emotion in the song and can literally taste the work that had to be put.

I think what makes Space Invaders unique is the melancholic touch and recurring hook that keeps ringing in your head for days, it has a few lines, this allows you to appreciate the lyrics of the song while allowing the lyrics to work on you, a refreshing soundscape that leaves you in shock.

In totality I think Space Invaders is a great song that has the power to rub shoulders with the current songs in the pop world. Everything you hear in Space Invaders was produced the duo with Andrew Krause spear heading the production.

After the previous review of “My Oh My,’ I am sure most music lovers wouldn’t expect Justin Turk to do a punk song, because he was so smooth on that song. Yet how he switches between characters in ‘Truth In Lies’ is very intriguing and mind-blowing, he does this effortlessly, making it seem easy.

Listening to the song you can hear his addictive voice screaming hard the lyrics to the song, and the next minute, he is calmly singing. Something entirely different from what he is known for, but the core of his sound doesn’t flick as he stays true to his craft – singing.

When asked about the main inspiration behind Truth In Lies, this is what Justin Turk Had to say, I am sure that is why you can feel the emotions oozing from the song, he said –

The debut self-titled single from Transcending Into The Unknown is a unique collaboration of family members who share the same musical skill, yet slightly different.

Now imagine a band of 3 family members with different musical backgrounds and different musical taste coming together to produce a song, can you imagine the variety of the sounds, a single song that you can hear some blues rock to metal and progressive rock.

“Transcending Into the Unknown” is a family made up of 2 brothers and a son – Filip Dahl, Stian Dahl and Robert Dahl a Norwegian family gifted with an immersive love for guitar.

A guitar-based instrumental track with elements of progressive rock, metal, and blues rock, “Transcending Into the Unknown” crosses genres. Since each guitarist has a unique tone and style, it is simple to discern between the guitar solos played by Filip (from 0:00 to 00:56), Stian (from 02:10 to 02:49), and Robert (from 02:50 to 03:25).

After taking a hiatus from music production for a long time talented multi-instrumentalist Filip Dahl, combined his musical powers with his two other relatives although his style is way different from the rest, yet he transcends into the unknown and dives deeper to fish out such a breath-taking sound.

“Transcending Into the Unknown” has 3 distinct solo, Filip starts with the opening, followed by Stian who picked up the guitar at an early stage of his life, Stian was heavily influenced by blues and rock, and this shamelessly brandish in his solo.

So Free is a feel-good pop song that brings the joy of being truly free from anything that ties you. Sachin, Keaton, Rohan, JJ and Govind ended up creating a masterpiece that wasn’t intended to be released but later they had to give it out.
