“I love you but I cant stop yelling at you” this is just a tip off the iceberg when it comes to the great songwriting skills NoSpace possess. NoSpace is a band hailing from Richmond, Indiana prior to the formation of the NoSpace.

The quartet had experience of playing together in a band, this allowed them to really understand each other’s sound, and because they had previous working relationship, they were in total sync.

Each member plays an important role in the groups production and vocals of the group. Noah Ilano (23) who specializes in bass, Jackson Haynes (21) who holds down the keys, Sam Gamboa (21) rocks out on the MPC and has mastered his unique sample chops, and Adam Mathews (19) who is the guitarist as well as the main audio engineer handling the mixing and mastering.

Their latest single Red Flags is a prove of their prowess when it comes to the band’s musical composition, one thing that stood out in the production was the techno beats sailing along with the fantastic drum line.

Not to forget the lyrics of the Red Flags are repetitive, yet short, making it easy for the listener to sing along and jam to it. With just a few lyrics, Red Flags poses as a melancholic song.

SDK is a Ghanaian content creator and brand influencer who has been one of Ghana’s leading skit and content makers over the years.

He has enjoyed several viral moments with numerous skits and content which have earned him hundreds of thousands of followers and fans with views in the hundreds of millions across all platforms. He has worked with some of the biggest brands in Ghana and around the world.

SDK went viral some two weeks after he released a skit depicting how amapiano songs are made. The skit quickly went viral with people asking for a full song inspired by the skit.

Although The Dive is an instrumental track the disposition of the instruments gives the listener a feel of artist’s musical prowess, how he makes a song with no vocals carry such powerful emotions needs to be looked into, I mean if just instrumentals can make you get the chills then I can’t imagine what else he can’t do with music.

The EP has a total of 5 songs on it and spans over 19 minutes 15 seconds, although short-lived the impact the songs leave on you can be heavily felt. The instrumentation of each song sets the perfect aura for the singer to distribute the emotions of the songs across.

If you think all the songs are melancholic, then you are in for a surprise as the last song on the EP is a fast-paced one with a clear description of the capabilities of the band, my favorite part is the majestic soundgasm exposed in “Slow Down”, the irony of it is Slow Down is rather fast-paced, I love it.

After more than two decades of being on a hiatus, Blueburst finally dusted himself off and decided to jump back to doing what he found joy and happiness doing most. He got in touch with one of his musical idols, legendary guitarist Marty Willson-Piper (The Church, Noctorum, MOAT) and the fusion gave birth to Supernova.

Supernova is fast-paced, energetic, and full of the explosive drumline, it’s a follow-up od his debut single “Vanish”. The lyrics of the song compliments the instrumental of the song as the lyrics of the song are circled around making the best out of your life because you have only one life.

This is a recurring hook and before you realize you are singing – “After turning 50, I decided it was time to quit stalling and get on with it, damn the torpedoes,” said Miller. “That’s what this song is about. How he crafts the lyrics of the song to crawl under your skin is a skill only few artist can ever lay their hands on, and he makes good use of you, his song-writing skills cannot be overlooked, he gives something you can jam to and same time reason with.

Saline Grace was established in 2005 in Berlin after the duo realized the deep connection they both had for music. Their sounds usually have a jazzy feel to it. Their latest single Bar Moon has this melancholic vibe to it, bringing into fusion an ominous atmosphere and perfect lyricism.

Ricardo Hoffmann’s voice adds a special effect to the tune allowing the instrumentals to stand out while shining lights on his spectacular singing and songwriting skills. With recurring lyrics, the duo takes you on a mind-blowing journey that allows you to experience all the emotions Bar Moon carries.

Listening to Bar Moon you can hear some wonderful musical instruments mainly consisting of piano, organ, concertina, strings as well as jazzy bass and drums, the listener is inevitably getting entangled in a sound experience.

Offdaze Throws You off With Space Invaders

When I saw the title “Space Invaders” I knew it was going to be a direct hit, and guess what, it’s sure is a hit. Offdaze is a duo that has been making music together since 2014, and you can tell the sync between them in their sound. When you Preston Dill and Andrew Krause combine their magical powers you get Offdaze.

The beginning of Space Invaders tells it all about the type of music you are being ushered into, it starts off with a low tone and a low voice that complements the instrumentation of the song. This is a song that does magic to the human brain.

Offdaze really put in work to produce such a tune that is both psychedelic and cathartic, a mind-blowing single that makes you catch goosebumps. Preston Dill’s vocal prowess was shamelessly displayed over the 3 minutes 09 seconds song, you can feel the emotion in the song and can literally taste the work that had to be put.

I think what makes Space Invaders unique is the melancholic touch and recurring hook that keeps ringing in your head for days, it has a few lines, this allows you to appreciate the lyrics of the song while allowing the lyrics to work on you, a refreshing soundscape that leaves you in shock.

In totality I think Space Invaders is a great song that has the power to rub shoulders with the current songs in the pop world. Everything you hear in Space Invaders was produced the duo with Andrew Krause spear heading the production.

After the previous review of “My Oh My,’ I am sure most music lovers wouldn’t expect Justin Turk to do a punk song, because he was so smooth on that song. Yet how he switches between characters in ‘Truth In Lies’ is very intriguing and mind-blowing, he does this effortlessly, making it seem easy.

Listening to the song you can hear his addictive voice screaming hard the lyrics to the song, and the next minute, he is calmly singing. Something entirely different from what he is known for, but the core of his sound doesn’t flick as he stays true to his craft – singing.

When asked about the main inspiration behind Truth In Lies, this is what Justin Turk Had to say, I am sure that is why you can feel the emotions oozing from the song, he said –

“The song is about seeking the truth by looking within. It’s about living by the golden rule. Revealing the hidden truth that is shared amongst all religions.”
