This and more were shared during the interview, Get the full interview below
Where do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration in my hobbies and surroundings. I think living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest of the United States, it provides lots of creative ambition.
What was the role of music in the early years of your life?
Music was always a huge part of my life growing up, I have five older siblings, and they always played me their favorite music, whether it was Led Zeppelin or Bob Dylan or Pearl jam and I was just obsessed with it all since I can remember.
Are you from a musical or artistic family?
All of my siblings can sing, so that must have rubbed off on me.
Who inspired you to be a part of the music industry?
I just decided that a young age to pursue it. I started the band in middle school and we played at my 8th grade graduation. Been doing this a long time.
How did you learn to sing/write/to play?
My parents bought me an acoustic guitar when I was in 6th grade and some guitar lessons, and I never looked back. What was the first concert that you ever went to and who did you see perform?
My older brother Jordan took me to see The Rolling Stones when I was in middle school. At the Kingdome in Seattle, which sadly isn’t standing anymore. I wasn’t absolute awe. The show blew me away.
How could you describe your music?
My music has a definite summer vibe. It always comes out with an island vibe for one reason or another.
My music has a definite summer vibe.
Describe your creative process.
I’ll either have a melody in my head that just comes out of nowhere, or I’ll actually sit down with my guitar and decide to write a song, messing around with some different chord progressions and see what comes out.
What is your main inspiration?
My main inspiration is just knowing that I’m creating something out of nowhere. It’s really cool to think that if I write a song right now, that I’ve just created something that wasn’t there 5 minutes ago.
What musician do you admire most and why?
It’s a toss up between Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan. They just keep trucking along and creating new music and not just playing their same ol’ tunes. They keep creating and putting new albums out.
Did your style evolve since the beginning of your career?
I think everyone’s style evolves, at least it should. I still have written lyrics from when I was 14 and it’s laughable. Definitely have lived some life since then.
Who do you see as your main competitor?
No competitor in music and no rules. That’s what I love about it. I create and write and sing what I want. Always.
What are your interests outside of music? I love anything that is summer involved. Surfing, paddle boarding, swimming.
If it wasn’t a music career, what would you be doing? Probably working at a record store.
What is the biggest problem you have encountered in the journey of music? The biggest problem is just getting your name out there. The internet and streaming sites are great because anybody can release music, but that also floods the field and makes it harder for artists to stick out.
If you could change one thing in the music industry, what would it be? Streaming services should pay more. There, I said it. Look at this way, people don’t pay one tenth of a penny for a print of a painting, or a movie ticket, but for some reason people don’t see music as a tangible thing, but it is. It is a product and should be paid accordingly. Musicians totally get screwed when it comes to streaming services.
What are your plans for the coming months?
My next couple months is just keep writing songs and playing shows, keep on creating.
Do you have any artistic collaboration plans? No collaboration plans at the moment, but I have tons of musician friends and we’re always brainstorming for ways to do so.
What message would you like to give to your fans?
Thanks for listening, and I hope you dig my tunes!

His soft pop sensibilities allow the soothing atmosphere to guide the listener through the track in a gentle, yet powerful way.
The single is divided into three distinct parts, each one contributing to the whole well-rounded experience. This is quite remarkable considering that all the material was written, performed and produced by Julian Tran. The UK based artist’s touch is evident by his capacity to blend the feeling of yearning with quiet acceptance.
Whether one needs to relax or just come to terms with the uncertainties in life, Julian Tran’s “Another Day” is perfect. His ear for dream-pop soundscapes is sure to put the listener on a thoughtful and introspective journey without forgetting its uplifting and hopeful message.
Stellan Perrick is an innovative and versatile dark-pop, indie, alternative, and experimental artist based in Germany. Since 2016, he has developed a unique sound and style, influenced by greats such as Michael Jackson and Prince. His debut single ‘Golden Baby‘ garnered international success, reaching the top spot on Palco mp3 in Brazil, and has been positively reviewed by numerous industry professionals, resulting in coverage from outlets like Entertainment Weekly, Billboard, Forbes, Huffington Post, MTV, and Mic.
Stellan Perrick’s “Naughty” is a mesmerizing blend of his dark pop and R&B style, offering a super catchy and undeniably sensual sound. The track plays with the pulsing modernity of indie pop, enthralling its audience in its anthem-like qualities and captivating vibes.
At first listen, the song begins with a seductive rhythm that oozes of temptation and passion. Perrick’s male vocals croon in a mysterious but enchanting chorus, inviting its audience to follow his leading as he spirals deeper down the rabbit hole of his hauntingly beautiful melodies. While its initial chords are allurement and captivating, the real depth of its meaning becomes apparent as you get further in the song.
The real theme of Naughty lays within its lyrics. With cryptic references and ambiguous metaphors, Stellan Perrick brings up the common theme of true satisfaction and happiness only finding its place within you; no amount of superficial things could ever bring you complete joy. In “Naughty,” we find ourselves wondering what it is he is talking about, and being drawn in to explore its hidden depths.
The track is an anthem of self-love and reflection, presenting the listener with the metaphorical message of looking inwards and understanding ourselves. While its rhythms can be taken as ultra-catchy musical genius, its syllables hide a wink, a smile, and a profoundly human theme.

BRE‘s latest single and the music video that goes along with it highlight a new phase in her life. Because of this, she comes across as someone who is inflexible.
The music video for the song, which is titled “Rather Be Alone,” portrays her as the host of the best slumber party for her pals, during which they all make a pledge to refrain from hanging with the wrong men.
She’s got the ideal feel to be the ultimate ladies’ song, and it’s clear to see why a lot of females will be bopping along to the music. She’s got the proper vibe to be the ultimate girls’ anthem.
She makes it abundantly evident that she would much rather be by herself than spend time with a man who obviously does not value her as much as she should. She would rather be alone.
Her ability to create contrast and tension in the performance demonstrates how committed she is to the song. The tempo of the song is frantic and exhilarating.
The words of the song are what really sell it; they are well-written, tell a story, or communicate thoughts in a way that really connects with the listener in a way that really hits home with them.
The melodies of “Rather Be Alone” are rather straightforward and uncomplicated, which allows the artist enough room to showcase her talents in the limelight.

Marquee Records’ signing Candid is one the best decisions any record label can make considering the magic the 5-piece brings on every song, and here is why;
Comprising of brothers (vocalist/guitarist) Rob Latimer and lead guitarist Dan Latimer, bassist Sam Baines, drums Alex Bonsor and keyboards Max Fisher, CANDID is an indie rock/pop outfit that originates from Coventry.
The band as a whole is extremely proud of its Coventry origins, but brothers Rob and Dan can also claim ‘Scouse’ DNA due to their local family roots.
