Where do you find inspiration?

I found a lot of inspiration in movie soundtracks, the sounds and textures give me a lot of ideas for moods and visuals for my music.

Describe your creative process.

It always start with a lyric I want to use, or a beat idea. It starts with a very simple idea, then it involves to a song. I meet with my producers and we experiment until it matches my vision

What musician do you admire most and why?

I love Bjork, I believe she’s one of my biggest influences. Everything she does defies the realms of creativity and she inspires me to challenge myself in terms of songwriting.

If you could change one thing in the music industry, what would it be?

Today’s music industry is all about numbers and streams. No one’s willing to take a risk anymore with artists despite their talent. Labels treat artists solely as investments, and it’s a lot of pressure on them to be seen. Talent on its own is not enough.

Why did you choose this as the title of this project?

The title came quite late in the game. When I wrote the lyric ‘I got caught up again’, I knew that was the name of the track. It symbolises being hurt once again and knowing you have to go through the process of grief all over again.

What are your plans for the coming months?

Releasing more songs this year and growing
