King Paluta – Tonga (Prod. By King Paluta)

Rapper King Paluta, real name Thomas Adjei Wireko, grew up in the Kumasi neighbourhood of Atonsu Bokuro. He was raised by a single mother, and thanks to her guidance, he has become a rap superstar.

In 2012, King Paluta was signed to an unidentified label after having previously worked with a number of other companies. A lot was promised to Thomas by this label with sugar-coated lips, including big-time brand promotions and blowing up recordings. To put it another way: He realised that after three years of constant recordings and sleeping in studios with this label, all these promises would never come to fruition. He is claimed to have gained a lot of wisdom through his experiences with promises and failures.

Just when he was about to give up hope and all of his Dreams, an Opportunity arose for him.

A chance encounter at the now-defunct Solid FM Freestyle Saturday brought him face-to-face with his inspiration. ‘Scientific’ Kwame Poku served as host. Paluta continues to draw inspiration from his remarks to this day. You should not conceal your light beneath the bed since you are so skilled.’ ‘You have to come out of your shell’. He and DJ Slim have been supporting me ever since. Since then, his fame has continued to climb as a result of more radio airplay.

Scratch introduced him to Nana Yaw Maradona, the CEO of NKZ Music, in 2016, after the two friends realised they might support one other (Guru). After signing with the NKZ Music label, he launched his first single.

There is no hint that this young guy would give up on his aspirations until they are realised, despite his career’s numerous ups and downs.

Things Only Naughty Guys Have Accepted (Tongha) is the title of King Paluta’s self-produced afrobeat song, and the lyrics evolve in a hilarious way as the song progresses.
