The new remix single “The Year Starts Early With Spring” by Pavel Ishanov is a new musical perspective on nature, renewal, and changes of the seasons. The Finnish artist lives in the countryside close to Hämeenlinna and his inspiration comes primarily from the lakes, forests and wildlife nearby.
The song will be released on February 3, 2027, after Ishanov closely watched the life around him and its changes in the spring. This project, in itself, was highly influenced by the spring and, as he says, was a key factor in the release. After watching nature slowly awaken, he came to know of the song’s true character.

The release is especially interesting because of its unique approach to recording. The music has been produced remotely, with the person performing it hearing it on a telephone in Helsinki, while the project was plugged into the countryside around Hämeenlinna. Yet, even though a considerable distance lies between them, the recording is very close to the atmosphere of Ishanov’s surroundings.
The Year Starts Early With Spring, inspired by the beautiful spring season, captures a poetic and evocative sensibility. Ishanov doesn’t just talk about spring; he’s also inspired by it.
There are also shows to attend, like the “Love and Happiness” and “Loneliness” songs, and Ishanov is busy, and proud of it, as he represents Hämeenlinna’s rich music scene.
