Earth-o-Naut is back with something truly special. His new single “There’s Nothing Above Music And Love” isn’t just a track, it’s a bold statement and a warm invitation to listeners everywhere. This release marks an exciting fresh start as he joins Agogo Records and gears up for his debut album This Is Nowhere. This Is Everywhere, dropping in May 2026.
What makes this even more impressive is that Earth-o-Naut created the entire song himself in his private studio, handling the writing, production, and recording. As a UK-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, he masterfully blends Soul, Jazz, and Funk into groove-driven music that feels both warm and alive. This single keeps his signature jazz warmth and modern global soul vibe while throwing in some irresistible vintage funk.
The track gets an extra boost from legendary British drummer Steve White, whose playing is absolutely stellar. Amalia Estradas brings smooth, beautiful R&B-style vocals that elevate everything while staying true to the song’s joyful spirit.
At its core, this song celebrates music and love as universal forces that bring people together across cultures and borders. It’s uplifting, genuine, and groovy in all the right ways. Earth-o-Naut has delivered something that feels both timeless and fresh.

That’s such a powerful title! What inspired you to make such a bold statement with “There’s Nothing Above Music And Love”?
Just how I see things, really, and how music and love are these intangible things that bring joy and belief to the human spirit. They both transcend cultures, borders, religions, language. They’re both a feeling and expression that we can’t quite explain or grasp, and that’s how it should be. We don’t need to quantify them or understand them.
Without music and love…where would we be spiritually and emotionally?
Can you walk us through the journey of creating this track? Where did the first spark of inspiration come from?
It’s a notion that I’ve had for a long time. In fact, ‘There’s Nothing Above Music and Love’ and ‘Musician Minus Ego Plus Fire’ are two mantras that I’ve used as the foundation to everything that I’ve done and how I’ve lived my life for a long time.
I wondered if it was something that other people would agree and resonate with, so I set about making the track. There was no big plan aside from that I knew that I wanted the finished song to be honest, uplifting and joyous.
I felt that if I could achieve that, it would give the song the best chance of connecting with people, not just on an instant level but maybe on a deeper level too.
Whether I managed to achieve this or not remains to be seen. I would like to add here that creativity coming from true, honest intention is non negotiable for me.
Music and love are universal themes. What personal experiences or moments shaped the message behind this song?
Well, I guess that music and love have shaped my life here, like everyone else, I think. As you said, they are universal, so they’re not unique to me. Both these things have helped me to make some kind of sense of what this is, where we are, what the point of it all is. Without them both, I’d be an empty shell.
How did you approach the production to match the depth and meaning of such a meaningful title?
As with all of my songs (and also when I produce other artists), when it comes to the production, my job is to make sure that everything completely supports the feeling and the message.
Everything fits together to tell the story but never gets in the way. Ego needs to be set aside and you have to give yourself up to it completely. So, everything had to match the joyous message that music and love are vital and they’re both at the pinnacle of our existence.
What was the most memorable or exciting moment for you while working on “There’s Nothing Above Music And Love”?
There’s a couple – when Steve White’s drumming and Amalia Estradas’s vocals were added to the track. Both their performances just took it somewhere else, to another level, but stayed true to the song. Also, when the track came back from the mastering engineer, JJ at Golden Mastering, I felt that the song lived up to what I’d set out to achieve both sonically and emotionally.
As Earth-o-Naut, you’ve chosen a name that suggests exploration. How does this track fit into your sonic voyage?
Well, hopefully, another step up in songwriting, playing and production. That desire is always there, to be better than the last thing that I’ve done, however small the step up is. I always just want to learn and be better at everything. That’ll never stop. Everyday is a school day.
What do you hope listeners discover or feel when they dive into “There’s Nothing Above Music And Love”?
A feeling of joy and positivity, I guess. I know that that might sound a bit wafty to some. But there you go, that’s the truth. So, whether that’s just the desire to dance around when they hear it, or sing along to it in the car, Or, if it ends up being something deeper that they connect and resonate with that relates uniquely to their life, then that’s great too. All those things are equally relevant, as far as I’m concerned.
Were there any particular sounds, instruments, or vibes you knew you had to include to bring this vision to life?
Not really anything in particular or out of the ordinary. The groove and feel is important to me, in everything that I do. So, it had to groove and feel right. Flow is important and essential.
If this song could be the soundtrack to a moment in someone’s life, what moment would you want that to be?
I couldn’t even begin to be arrogant enough to think that my song/songs would be so pivotal to a specific moment in someone’s life. Ultimately, I guess, that if enjoying any of my songs helps someone else in their life in some small way, my job as a songwriter is done.
What’s on the horizon for Earth-o-Naut? Can we expect more music that explores these beautiful themes?
I’ve recently signed a record deal with German based record company, Agogo Records. So, my debut album will be released in May this year.
Aside from that, I’m really looking forward to taking the songs on the road and playing some live shows and getting to meet some of the people who have supported me and my music so far.
As for the themes in the future…who knows what will fall out of the ether and find me! I’m very fortunate and very grateful to be able to create songs and play music, and as I said, everyday is a school day…Onwards!
