Woldeb Releases His Latest Single “Stop! (You´re Killing Me)”

Woldeb, the stage name of R&B/Soul artist Jimmy Bedlow, was born in Trinidad and Tobago and now resides in Toronto, Canada.

When it comes to writing music, he sees it as his main mission to inspire, encourage, and move anybody listening. Woldeb was always interested in music and composed his first song, “You don’t know it” at the age of eight.

Songwriting styles include pop, R&B, EDM, dance, and soul, among others. He listens to music all day and night. It’s a part of him.

Jimmy Bedlow, as Woldeb, wrote and sang the song, which was produced by Harrison Caldeira. In this song, Woldeb explores his connection with himself for the first time.

Essentially, it refers to the loss of one’s self-identity. The message of the song is to put on a happy front for the sake of pleasing people, fitting in, and being accepted.

Self-discovery is a theme of the song. We all make adjustments in relationships, whether it’s with family members, friends or love partners, and these changes frequently force us to put ourselves on the back burner.

There are times when we lose ourselves in a relationship because our anxieties urge us to doubt our worthiness, to doubt our ability to be loved by someone and to doubt our ability to be loved by ourselves.

When it came to being accepted and fitting in, the composer lost who he was as an individual.
