VGMA 19: Full List Of Award Winners And Happenings

The 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has finally come to an end with a lot of funny, interesting and appalling moments.

The night witnessed a number of devastating instances but we still can’t deny the fact that it was indeed a great night.

The show started with an open performance from Amandzeba, Adina, Akwaboah Jnr, Gifty Osei and Teephlow performing “Our Music Lives”.

“Our Music Lives” is actually a theme song for this year’s awards.

DJ Black who was on the turn tables warmed the place with some cool throwback songs which also introduced the host, Kwame Sefa Kayi.

Also, a documentary on the history of the awards was presented after which Berla Mundi came in as co-host for the night.

The night had great and exciting performances from Kula, Efya, Sarkodie, Kwesi Arthur, Diana Hamilton, Barima Sidney among others.

As Stonebwoy took the award for Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of The Year, fans of Shatta Wale climbed the stage where there was a fracas.

Stonebwoy was spotted taking a gun out live on stage. Then the police had to come into it to make the whole place calm.

Other artistes who thrilled fans were Samini, Burna Boy, Kuami Eugene, Medikal, Kidi, King Promise etc.
