Tuvaband Introduces “Something Good” From Her Forthcoming Album

Indie rock band Tuvaband, headquartered in Norway, has racked up a combined total of 40 million plays on Spotify, earning them widespread critical praise along with excellent worldwide recognition.

Tuvaband is the creation of brave composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Tuva Hellum Marschhauser, and it has a music style that is incredibly varied. Tuva previously won a Norwegian Grammy nomination.

Her song “Irreversible” was remixed by legendary dub pioneer Lee “Scratch” Perry. The daring craftsmanship of Tuva has been compared favourably to that of Kate Bush, the Cocteau Twins, David Lynch, and CocoRosie, amongst others.

Her music emanates an indie-pop mysticism, floating effortlessly between delicate, piano-led folk, gently soaring post-rock, and beautifully created sound design. Tuva’s fluttery vocals, which manage to be both primal and sensitive, are heard floating over these expertly produced tunes and intricately layered soundscapes.

Indie pop musician Tuvaband introduces the third track from her upcoming album “New Orders,” which is titled “Something Good,” and provides a positive message that the world desperately needs to hear.

Ethereal but dramatic in style, “Something Good” generated its inspiration during the epidemic when she resided in Berlin and everything around her seemed bleak and threatening.
