Trippie Redd Delivers New Single ‘Big 14’ Featuring OffSet And Moneybagg Yo

Michael Lamar White II, better known by his stage name Trippie Redd, is a recording artist and rapper from the United States. The SoundCloud rap culture, which began to get attention from the general public in the latter half of the 2010s, counts him as one of its most renowned members.

Trippie Redd is responsible for producing music that is radically experimental while yet being very attractive. Since releasing his debut mixtape, titled A Love Letter to You, in 2017, the multi-platinum-selling, chart-topping rapper, and singer/songwriter has consistently defied genre boundaries in his music. He does this by fusing his melodic take on rap with the frenetic elements of rock-and-roll and heavy metal.

And the Ohio native, who is just 23 years old, mixes that limitless inventiveness with a potently raw emotional effect, thanks to the insightful words he writes and the subtle but hard-hitting vocal performance he gives.

Not only has he worked with some of the most prominent names in music today, such as Drake, Future, XXXTENTACION, and Juice WRLD, as well as Illenium and Marshmello, Travis Barker, and Oliver Tree, but he also made his acting debut in an episode of Lil Dicky’s highly acclaimed DAVE series, which was followed by an appearance on Machine Gun Kelly’s Good Mourning. Both of these projects have received positive reviews.

As soon as the tune starts, he quickly cautions, “Don’t come outside,” as the track’s deep bassline explodes over murky 808s. He then begins to shout an immediately catchy chorus over and over again, “Big 14” He then leans into lyrics that are slick and smoked out.

This explosive new anthem also features show-stopping cameo appearances from fellow superstars Offset and Moneybagg Yo, who lend even more firepower to the track.

They rap to the camera on skyscraper rooftops, in deserted halls, and beneath strange filters in the accompanying visual. These raps take place in between views of flamethrowers lighting up the night and an abundance of fancy automobiles and smoke.

This month, he has been making news for his performance at Rolling Loud Miami, which was nothing short of spectacular. Additionally, he collaborated with Marshmello and Mae Muller on the track “American Psycho,” which received positive reviews from publications including Complex and HotNewHipHop.

In addition, he is presently on the road supporting select dates of Machine Gun Kelly’s Mainstream Sellout Tour. In September, he is scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud Toronto and Summer Sky Vol. 1.
