Trav B Ryan Teams Up With Rxdeboy On Self Love (Feat.

Born Travis Ryan Bramble, who was brought up in Brooklyn, New York, mostly felt like a loner. This gravitated him to find solace in music.

Because of the love and passion Travis had for music, just with a little push from his elder sister he just took off on his own. At a young age, He was much more concerned about making the world get the message he has to share in music.

Trav B Ryan as he goes by on stage is a natural born with talent, this is evident in his music composition. His new release which has Rxdeboy on it is proof that music making is a big deal and this is an artiste the world would have to pay attention to.

Trav in a recent interview with Mister Styx of Musicarenagh  had more to say about himself and his music

Here is what he had to say:

What is your stage name

Trav B Ryan

Is there a story behind your stage
name?

My real name is Travis and my middle name is Ryan. Its basically saying “I am who I am”. I am me and I will never stop being me.

Where do you find inspiration?

Everywhere. My family. My environment. My own emotions. I take inspiration from everywhere and spit it back out with my own twist.

What was the role of music in the early years of your life?

Music was my therapy. I was kind of a loner and kept to myself mostly. I had a hard time speaking about my feelings. Music helped me with that. It helped me understand myself and express myself at the same time.

Are you from a musical or artistic family?

Yea actually my older sister inspired me to rap. She was a battle rapper in high school so that trickled down to me. My entire family are lovers of music.

Who inspired you to be a part of the music industry?

I inspired myself. I wanted my voice to be heard everywhere. I wanted my emotions shared with the world.

How did you learn to sing/write/to play?

My older sister actually guided me at first. Told me about delivery and voice control. She put me on the right set of training wheels and I just took off from there.

What was the first concert that you ever went to and who did you see perform?

I went to a concert years back at Buffalo State College. It was Rick Ross and Fabolous performing. It was really dope but I don’t like crowds so I haven’t gone to one since. Only open mics lol.

How could you describe your music?

My music is basically aggression, vulnerability, intensity, and love all mixed into one. It doesn’t sound like what you are used to. It is more of an experience than music.

Describe your creative process.

I basically create a beat that connects with the emotion I am feeling at that time and form the words to match. Everything is organic and is coming directly from me when I create.

What is your main inspiration?

My Daughter. Her smile keeps me going.

Trav B Ryan Self Love

What musician do you admire most and why?

Right now, just myself. No one knows what I have been through but me. I’m my biggest fan and biggest role model.

Did your style evolve since the beginning of your
career?

Yes, It definitely did. I used to rap about what I thought people wanted to hear. The cars, girls, money. Over the years I grew up. Started checking in with myself and my mental health. Started to be more vulnerable with my feelings in my music. Now there’s more substance there. My music is unique to me. I love that.

Who do you see as your main competitor?

The person I was yesterday. Each day I want to be better than that person which makes me better in return.

What are your interests outside of music?

I love comic books. I love cheering for my favorite team, the New York Knicks. I’m obsessed with those two things.

If it wasn’t a music career, what would you be doing?

Probably creating science fiction stories or directing movies. I have been in love with movies since I was little so that would take up all my time if I wasn’t creating music.

What is the biggest problem you have encountered in
the journey of music?

Not being able to deal with hearing “no” all the time. When you are trying to make it in this business, you will hear a lot of no’s. That took a toll on me after a while. I overcame that by making my own lane and essentially making my own “yes”.

If you could change one thing in the music industry, what would it be?

I would reward the creatives. There are too many artists that are taking the easy route by sounding like a carbon copy of what’s already out and what works. They are very successful. I would flip that and make the ones who dare to be different, more successful and more popular.

What are your plans for the coming months?

I am working on an entire album promoting self-love and self-care.

Do you have any artistic collaboration plans?

Yes, I have a lot more in the works with my guy Rxdeboy and also a dope track featuring the talented singer Nick Conners.

What message would you like to give to your fans?

Keep being you. No matter how hard it gets or how uncool it is. Keep going. I’m glad you are alive. I’m glad you’re here.
