Theo Tams is a Canadian singer who emerged victorious during the sixth season of the competition known as Canadian Idol, which was broadcast on CTV. His first studio album, titled Give It All Away, was published by Sony Music Canada in the year 2009.
Tams spent his childhood in Coaldale, which is located in Alberta, and went to Immanuel Christian High School, which is located in Lethbridge. Tams learned to play the piano all on his own and was a trumpet player in high school. Before he auditioned for American Idol, he was a student at the University of Lethbridge, where he majored in psychology and classical music.
Tams spent his childhood in the sleepy village of Coaldale, Alberta, where his parents were devout members of the Reformed Christian Church. As a youngster who grew up going to church, Tams had a natural inclination to pursue a career in music. It wasn’t until he was about 14 or 15 years old that he started writing on a consistent basis, and much of what he produced was poetry and creative works.
Theo Tams is now the subject of a different type of attention. He is a step-father, a wonderful and joyous duty that has given him a new lease on life and inspired him in his music. As a result of this new lease on life, he has found fresh inspiration in his music.
Theo Tams is making his comeback with a new song called “Kick Back,” which is an effortlessly cool piece of RnB-laced pop that finds the artist contemplating the early stages of a relationship. Tams, who describes herself as an overthinker, made the conscious decision to take a more relaxed attitude.
Tams’ message in “Kick Back” is that we need to quit attempting to persuade other people that we are worthy of their attention, and the song “Kick Back” has an assured bassline and interwoven melodies to support this message.
This song is meant to serve as a gentle nudge in the direction of showing up and being yourself while maintaining faith that the appropriate person will appreciate the magic you have to give.
