BIPOLAR GEMINI is a mixtape of songs created by Nate Who over the span of over four years. Although his childhood wasn’t what he would have wanted, he kept hopes high and used music as his most suitable companion.
Most of Nate Who’s songs are largely inspired by his experiences in relationships while struggling to learn how to deal with his bipolar disorder. He tries to show love and inspire others but he states
“it’s hard to do when my head isn’t in the same place as my heart. My biggest sign of progress so far has been coming to terms with who I am and asking for help. This mixtape is a proud moment for me, where I can finally let the world know who I am.
This inspired his new album which consists of 8 solid songs, with each having a different feel and vibe to it. During an interview with Mister Styx of Musicarenagh, Nate Who made some disclosures about his musical journey and what keeps him going

What is your stage name
Is there a story behind your stage name?
Not really. My name is Nathaniel and I go by Nate. I added Who because it sounds cool.
Where do you find inspiration?
Inspiration usually finds me. Little triumphs can ignite moments of creativity for me as well as going to the museum. But usually its just “wow, that’s a good idea!” and then shortly after theres a song. It’s a cool process but I am not in control of it which keeps things fun for sure.
What was the role of music in the early years of your life?
I didn’t have the most stable childhood. I would write poetry, pray, and record song ideas to kind of escape from whatever my family was going through sometimes. I would always lose a notebook full of songs every time we moved from one house to the next
Are you from a musical or artistic family?
Who inspired you to be a part of the music industry?
The radio and MTV. I wanted to be a star as a kid because it looked so cool. But now I finally understand how fun but also scary it is to really express yourself as an artist. To be vulnerable and show yourself fully.
How did you learn to sing/write/to play?
I bought books as a kid and taught myself things at home.
What was the first concert that you ever went to and who did you see perform?
When I first moved to Miami, I saw a show with Diplo and this cool band duo Sleigh Bells.
How could you describe your music?
RnB alt. Lyric focused. A younger Frank Ocean or male SZA. Cloudy fluffy and imperfect.
Describe your creative process.
I record my vocals over a beat from a producer. Then I mix my vocals onto the beat and master the project myself. Being a perfectionist has held me back in the past so now I try not to hold onto music for too long and just get it out, trusting I will learn and grow along the way,
What is your main inspiration?
What musician do you admire most and why?
Beyonce. Shes a true performer and takes albums seriously. Shes culturally aware and uses her biggest moments as an opportunity to make an impact for the entire community.
Did your style evolve since the beginning of your career?
Of course. I’ve tried new things along the way.
Who do you see as your main competitor?
I’m the only one I ever see getting in my way. Myself?
What are your interests outside of music?
Working out. Eating good food. A good drink. Making love.
If it wasn’t a music career, what would you be doing?
A visual artist. Actor. But I also do these now.
What is the biggest problem you have encountered in the journey of music?
Staying consistent no matter what life throws at you or how many mistakes you make.
If you could change one thing in the music industry, what would it be?
Artists being invested in based on talent, not clout.
Why did you choose this as the title of this project?
I chose BIPOLAR GEMINI because I am both, and this mixtape discusses that.
What are your plans for the coming months?
Singles singles, another mixtape, music videos, microcontent for instagram and tik tok.
Do you have any artistic collaboration plans
“WANNA DANCE?” is my latest release before the EP and it will be getting an “EL REMIX” with a local rapper, El Igor, who will be adding some Spanish language verses.
What message would you like to give to your fans?
Keep pushing the numbers up every time you see something from me. I want to keep making better and better music for you.
