Sofia Karlberg’s New Music Is Specially Made “Just For You”

Sofia Karlberg, a gifted and bright Swedish vocalist, appears to have experienced heartbreak at a young age.

Her new song “Just For You” explores the shift from being in love to stepping into a brand-new world of despair. You’ll likely be able to connect with the song in some way.

Listening to the song, one can feel the hurt and uneasiness in her vocals because of course, when it pertains to love and heartache, this one really delves deeper into the brain and hits your senses.

The new song is off her latest EP, “Hold My Love,” in which she expresses similar sentiments and more. If you’ve ever been devastated, this is the one for you!

To her, it also entails sharing her musical life story as the 6-track EP portrays her past, memories, sentiments in the present, and young self.

Speaking on the idea behind such a theme, Sofia says “I wanted to invite all the different parts of my new city into this EP, the darkness, the fun, the love but mainly the diversity. It’s such a weird and unique city with plenty room for everyone to be themselves in and I hope that this collection of songs can give you just that feeling, that there’s something for everyone, and that you’re all welcome into my world.”

Early covers of songs by Beyoncé and the Chainsmokers including “Crazy in Love” and “Paris” helped Karlberg gain notoriety and accumulate almost two million YouTube subscribers.

The way Sofia expresses it makes it feel rather adversarial, and her skill to portray genuine empathy radiates through the entire project.
