Ruben Anthony Composes Love Song For His Girlfriend And Unborn Child

Ruben Anthony, a singer, songwriter, and composer who was born on the island of Curacao in the Caribbean, began singing and dancing at the age of seven, and he has been performing ever since.

The Miss Beautiful Black Pageant was the occasion for his first appearance on Dutch national television when he was 15 years old. Ruben went to Amsterdam when he was 18 years old and was immediately admitted into the Theater School there. Following his graduation from high school, Ruben went on tour with Enrique Iglesias, Ruth Jacott, and Mr President.

In Austria, his first song, “Be My Lady” debuted at position no. 5 on the charts. He went on to create two songs for the musical Carmen Cubana, which helped him get attention on a national level for his writing ability, and executive produced his following two albums, which were titled “In My Room” and “Take It All“.

Ruben has performed in front of sold-out audiences around Europe, including at the famous Amsterdam Carré and Oude Luxor in Rotterdam, as well as twice at “De Wereld Draait Door.” His tours have taken him to Austria as well.

Ruben Anthony, Leon Sherman, Rushan West (Tabitha), and Boyd, The Producer (Frenna) have collaborated once again on a song titled “Little Things” which is expected to be a hit. After completing “Use Me” this is the second song that this band has worked on together.

Mid-tempo and heavily influenced by the decade of the 1980s, “Little Things” was composed for Ruben’s partner as they prepare for the arrival of their first child in August. The drum fills that Boyd, The Producer uses are incredible, and they provide the song with a significant lift just before it gets to the chorus.
