Roy Woods Offloads Smooth New Drop “Insecure”

Known as Roy Woods, Denzel Spencer is a Canadian rapper and vocalist. Drake, Noah “40” Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib co-founded OVO Sound, a record company that Woods has signed to. His own group, Unlock The Underground (UTU), was founded by Woods.

Woods was a student at Turner Fenton High School until his senior year when he transferred to St. Augustine Secondary School.

It wasn’t until he became famous as a musician that he was widely praised for his dedication and skill in football.

His middle name, “Roy,” is derived from a Brampton resident who shared an apartment with him as a teen. Woods conducted a poll among the students at his high school, and the response “Roy Wood$” seemed to be the most popular.

Multiplatinum Toronto R&B auteur Roy Woods has unveiled a new track and music video titled “Insecure” on OVO Sound as he gears up for a monumental next phase.

As his voice soars and falls romantically, the track’s delicately plucked guitar follows suit. With his rolling guitar and beautiful raps, Roy Woods keeps the party going late into the night!

Roy Woods’ career progresses at his own pace. So far, he has amassed a stunning 2 billion streams throughout the globe and 1.2 billion in the United States alone.

Say, Less, his latest album, debuted at No. 1 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Chart in 2018. Since then, he’s headlined his own tour and performed with Drake, Future, and Migos.
