Phrimpong, Others Thrill Fans At Religion 2 Premiere
The night of Easter Sunday saw many patrons gathered at The Basement Bar and Lounge, Kumasi City Mall to witness an exciting milestone for Ghanaian conscious rapper Phrimpong as he premiered his most anticipated “Religion 2” music video.
The event that was considered a minor and a startup in the rapper’s career to the surprise of many was amazingly flooded with numbers as he gathered almost every head that matters in talking showbiz under one roof to thrilling performances.
In a chit-chat prior to the grand premiere of Religion 2, Phrimpong revealed he wrote both songs “Religion 1 and 2” the same day and added his reasons for finally settling on releasing Religion 2 in the face of adversities surrounding the first episode.
“It was a calling and the fan base have been waiting for a very long time, its been about four years and people have been calling upon me”, Phrimpong narrated.
Commenting on why he chose to premiere Religion 2, the young rapper elaborated it was a deliberate effort to assemble the entire music lovers under one roof to watch Kumasi based musicians perform.
The event had captivating performances and graced by the presence of Teacher Kwadwo, Lino Beezy, Frank Naro, Ratty Ghana, Braa Benk, Freddy Blaze, Kwame Baah, DJ Slim, DJ Kaxtro among others.
