As the popular adage goes “Cleanliness is next to Godliness” which is the Women’s Commission of the Ghana Institute of Journalism decided to embark on this exercise.

The Women’s Commission in collaboration with the SRC and Adval Global Ghana Limited came together to make this possible.

This campaign seeks to clear bacteria, remove stains from the tiles and to enhance a refreshing washroom environment.

About 10 students joined hands in this since the school is still on vacation even though it was still worthwhile.

The motive was to have a refreshing environment in the washrooms a week before lectures commence.

During the exercise, all washrooms including staff washrooms were all cleaned perfectly.

Aside the cleanup campaign, a lecture will be organized to sensitize students on maintaining personal hygiene in washrooms.

Also, all cleaners employed by management will be trained on cleanup sessions and maintenance.

After that, a report will be sent to the acting Registrar, Madam Patience Sowah to effective sustainability of this project.
