Olly Lagemann, originally from Cuxhaven in Germany, is a rock-pop songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer.
He has been playing the bass and guitar professionally for almost 20 years, and in addition to that, he teaches music at the nearby Waldorf Schule (Rudolf Steiner school).
Olly Lagemann steps away from the rocking orbit that he has been a part of for the last several decades, travelling with his bands Cats TV and Loz Tinitoz. He just released a new EP, which he termed “Green,” not too long ago.
Playful bass, vintage percussion, electric piano, mellotron, micro moong, and vocoder voices make up “Green” transfer here texts about the love of an aromatic pilot that was lost, lonely hours spent conversing with imaginary friends and introspective musings about one’s own introversion and the most fulfilling relationship on Gentle Avenger Clouds.
Pete Draack recorded and produced “Green” at Sad Rex Studio in Cuxhaven (also used by Cats TV, Hedge, and Loz Tinitoz) with the help of a GVL grant from Restart Culture to cover some of the recording and production costs.
