Ohad Ashkenazi is a singer-songwriter who hails from Israel. His music, which can be described as a Pop/Soul/RnB salad, is characterized by an eclectic taste that Ohad offers to the genre.
His music yells out a message of self-love, sexual liberation, and emotional expression in a powerful way. Ohad’s corpus of work, which he refers to as ‘fan art,’ displays the influence of his musical training and schooling.
Ohad’s adolescent years were spent in Hong Kong, where he competed in singing contests. He achieved a third-place finish in Star Factor (2009) and first place in Yrock POP (2013).
He was featured as a soloist on the album Music Kreation II, which was sold in Hong Kong and Taiwan, and he obtained several musical theatre credits (including Annie, Oliver!, and Spring Awakening). He was invited to sing in various Hong Kong music festivals and was a recurring guest on RTHK Radio 1 & 3. In addition, he performed at a number of music festivals in Taiwan.
After moving back to Israel, OHAD continued his musical education at the Rimon School of Music, where he also continued performing. Today, he is completing his education at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
OHAD is creating his image on his own terms after garnering sixty thousand plays on Spotify, twelve thousand views on YouTube, radio and music festival performances in Israel and Hong Kong, and the release of two self-produced EPs.
