Australian musician and rapper Nick De La Hoyde hails from Sydney. He travelled to Barcelona when he was 15 to seek a career in soccer.
During this period, he started to compose music, and after returning to Australia, he made music his full-time profession.
Having started his musical career in 2014, Nick De La Hoyde has since developed a sound that is intimate while still being vast and engaging, and one that is gaining a global fan base.
A multi-finalist at the International Songwriting Competition, Nick has garnered prior Honorary Mentions for his compositions Mirror Mirror (2018), Love Takes Time (2017) and Thinking Bout You (2016). (2016). Nick’s first album ‘A Beautiful Mess’ earned the first award in the ‘pop album category’ at the 18th Independent Music Award (IMA) 2020.
Nick has played at Rolling Loud in Miami, backed Max on his Down Under tour, and written for and worked with musicians from all over the globe, including Australia, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Norway, France, Sweden, and Italy, to name just a few places.
