Matthew Joseph Talks About Relationship Issues In Latest Music “My Mistakes”

Matthew Joseph is a late bloomer in the pop scene, having been born and nurtured in North Wales. When Matthew Joseph came on the scene in 2019 with his cutting, edgy and relevant electro-pop, it rapidly gained him over 16K Spotify streams and a large following on social media.

Matthew, who had previously been on shows like The X-Factor, immediately grasped the transience of such brief exposure and set out to carve his own route in the business. As an outspoken critic of the present trend of online dating and our desperate search for “online” status, he decided to compose his own songs and lyrics.

Matthew’s fast-paced, irreverent pop celebrates and interrogates our transient and sometimes trashy online lives as one of the UK’s newest musical figureheads for feminism, individualism, and the LGBTQ community. It’s a song that’s equal parts catchy choruses and thought-provoking words.

In a more in-depth chat, he discussed both his musical career so far and his most recent single, “My Mistakes.” Being in an imperfect relationship and dealing with its ups and downs is what this song is all about.
