LA-based Singer And Producer Francisco Martin Reveals New Single ‘Hate You To Love Myself’

Pop singer-songwriter Francisco Martin discovered an all-consuming need to express who he really was via the medium of music.

Francisco was born and nurtured in a musically rich home in the San Francisco Bay Area. A rock fanatic, his dad; a singer-songwriter fanatic, mom; a soul music lover brother.

Francisco began playing the drums and singing at the age of nine before moving on to the guitar, piano, and other instruments.

As a high school student, Francisco grew infatuated with self-producing remixes of his favourite songs and putting them on SoundCloud, which led to him becoming a popular local musician.

By way of “hate you to love myself” the new single from LA’s singer-songwriter/producer Francisco Martin, he’s made up for previous mistakes. His new album, ‘Manic,’ will be released on August 26th on 19 Recordings.

Nobody Listens To Me!” from Martin’s upcoming ‘Manic EP,’ is a thumping, anthemic piece full of dreamy electro-pop atmosphere, furious and angular guitars, and heartfelt lyricism.

After releasing “KISSING ON A BALCONY” in May, Francisco showed that he hadn’t lost his amorous side with a playful, delicate pop track with brilliant rhythmic punctuations and exquisite melodies.

Though the album features Francisco’s beautiful falsetto and strong belting, the songs themselves reflect a new age of unbridled inventiveness. For this album, there’s a lot going on musically. There’s a lot going on on the album. There’s a lot going on musically.

Francisco initially became well-known after appearing in the Top 5 on Season 18 of American Idol in 2020. In the following months, he released a series of songs before going on a cross-country tour.

He’s been compared favourably to songwriter performers like James Bay, John Mayer, Maggie Rogers, and Ed Sheeran for his heart-on-sleeve heartfelt pop.
