What is your real name?

My real name is Mike Ludwig.

Follow him on: Bandcamp and YouTube.

What’s your official Stage Name (showbiz name)?

I make and release music under the name Screaming Bones.

What do you do (fashion, music, comedy, artist, dancer, etc.)?

I create sounds and music and publish the tracks on Bandcamp, Spotify and various other streaming services. I consider the Screaming Bones music a psychedelic experience. The music of SB is hypnotic, it mostly consists of psychedelic jams, it helps me to access my emotions and deal with the sh*** that is sometimes going around in my head.

How did you get into what you do (music, modelling, art, dance, etc.?)

Music has always been a lifeline for me. I’m surprised it took me so long to start making music myself, I have always been on the other side, listening, exploring the sounds of the bands I love. It was only when I was grounded with illness for a long time that I decided to pick up the guitar, that’s how Screaming Bones came into being.

What field or genre are you into and give a brief description of what your career/profession/ field feels like?

I would label my music as psychedelic or, in parts, experimental. (For more details about my musical background, see the press release). Music has always been an outlet for me and I am amazed how the SB journey so far enables me to express myself with the sound I am creating. It feels liberating to let go while you play, sometimes it feels like somebody else is taking over and I am always amazed when I listen to the result later.

Who or what inspires you or motivates you? And why?

I have always been motivated by bands with a unique sound. Bands, who managed to capture the vibe of a moment with their instruments. Music is emotions pressed into vinyl. As a listener you want to catch a glimpse of that when you start spinning a record or go to a gig. Bands that manage to capture the vibes of the moment are the ones that always inspired me. I get bored by people who just play by the books, it sounds…the same all over.

What was your first project and the people you worked with and which year?

My first project was and is Screaming Bones. SB is a one-man project, I play all the instruments myself (except for the drums, they are computer-generated) and I do all the sound modulation. For the latest album, I was lucky enough to have Patrick from Zenmix Recordings to do the final works on the recordings. SB started back in 2019, when I started to record my first tunes.

How many projects do you have so far?

I only have one project and that is Screaming Bones.

How long have you been doing what you do?

SB is relatively new, the journey started back in 2019 and has been going since then.

What do you look out for in this line of business?

My wish is for the Screaming Bones sound to be listened to around the world. Play the tunes loud, dance to them, have sex to them, get f****** high to them, all united in a love for music.

Have you won any awards or been nominated for an award? Or in short, any achievement? Both in and out of your career path.

Nope, I have not won any awards (yet), haha 🙂

What is this new release about?

The new release is about music that catapults you into your headspace. I don’t do anything else, I make music to go on a journey to when you close your eyes and I want to share that with the world. The tracks ‘Eve’ and ‘Destruction’ are a bit darker, they somehow came out in the light of the current events in the world. The remaining three tracks after those leave the listener with a hope for the better.

Who and how many people worked on it?

It’s only me creating all the sounds, I do the basic mixing, before Patrick Burkholder of Zenmix Recordings took over and did the finishing work.

What can your previous and new audiences anticipate from you in the future?

I continue to play, I continue to explore my own headspace while I am doing that, so I will continue to release more albums in the future, filled with more exciting sounds.

Young and vibrant man I am, God fearing, warm at heart. Music is bae food is life. If you've seen this then you know me!!!
