Alongside the release of his new song and music video for “graveyard shift,” Jonah Kagen also announces the release of his first EP. “graveyard shift” is Jonah’s latest single and music video.
On the song “graveyard shift,” Jonah combines the acoustic-driven sound that has become his hallmark with passionate lyrics that pull at the emotions. The record was co-written by Mags Duval and Joe Janiak, who also contributed to the production of the song.
Jonah Kagen was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, and began playing the guitar at the age of six. After his grandpa, a jazz musician showed him performance films, Jonah became deeply interested in the technical elements of the instrument.
His creative spirit was further stoked by the finger-style approach of guitarist Andy McKee, whose music served as another source of inspiration for him.
His sister urged him to upload his music on social media while he was still in college, and he quickly gained early popularity as a TikTok phenomenon with the publication of his first tune “Broken.”
Jonah is already cutting incredible statistics, with over 100 million worldwide streams across all of his libraries. He is an intriguing new voice that brings obvious energy and honesty via his varied style.
