”The phrase ‘Kiss the Son’ is taken from a passage of scripture, Psalm 2. It basically describes the Creator of the world, God, is also a King who will judge the nations. He is called a Son and to kiss the Son is to trust in Him lest you perish in His wake.”

Where do you find inspiration?
God’s amazing grace.
What was the role of music in the early years of your life?
It helped me cope with a lot of struggles in my teen years and provided an outlet to spend quality time with friends.
Are you from a musical or artistic family?
My father is a singer song writer but in a different genre.
Who inspired you to be a part of the music industry?
My friend Jon Sebastian was probably my biggest inspiration to write my own songs. He was the best at it and always encouraged me.
How did you learn to sing/write/to play?
I was self taught and learned by playing with others in bands.
What was the first concert that you ever went to and who did you see perform?
I think it was Beck and Dave Mathew’s band. I didn’t really like either of them. Lol.
How could you describe your music?
Probably heavily influenced from the grunge rock sound of the 90s with my own version of what I think sounds like indie rock.
Describe your creative process.
I love to come up with lyric melodies and fit the music to those. The lyrics are of most important in my songs.
What is your main inspiration?
Bands like My Epic, Citizens and Rivers and Robots inspire me greatly.
What musician do you admire most and why?
I don’t follow any particular person, just bands.
Did your style evolve since the beginning of your career?
My songs are taking new shape each new release based on those I collaborate with to make them.
What are your interests outside of music?
Worshiping the Maker of heaven and earth, my wife and 2 boys, my career in construction.
If it wasn’t a music career, what would you be doing?
Music isn’t a career for me, but a hobby I hope blessed others who hear my music.
What is the biggest problem you have encountered in the journey of music? Learning how to promote my content.
Why did you choose this as the title of this project?
The phrase ‘Kiss the Son’ is taken from a passage of scripture, Psalm 2. It basically describes the Creator of the world, God, is also a King who will judge the nations. He is called a Son and to kiss the Son is to trust in Him lest you perish in His wake.
The Bible teaches that all knees will bow before Him, either in terror or in worship. My song is a call to repentance and to faith. Leave your pride and humble yourselves before the merciful God who went to the cross for everyone who believes.
What are your plans for the coming months?
Take a break from releasing new songs during the holidays. There are 4 more new songs I plan to release during the 1st quarter next year.
Do you have any artistic collaboration plans
Just finishing the album with my producer Clint Campbell of Surrender Studios.
What message would you like to give to your fans? Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to listen to the new songs released this year. I hope you are encouraged by them. Stay tuned for more! By March of 2023 8 new songs will be released from my new album called ‘Pilgrim’s Progress.’ I hope you enjoy.
