Jaye Madison Premieres A Feel-Good BFF Summer Anthem ‘Ride Or Die’

Jaye Madison is the stage name of twin sisters Jordan and Madison Skinner.

Jordan and Madison Skinner were separated at birth by just one minute, so they have never known a life without one other. The twins drew upon their southern inspirations, such as blues, rock, country, and folk music, which all contributed to their modern soulful Americana sound. Having grown up in Southeast Texas, the twins were constantly exposed to a wide variety of musical styles.

This dynamic pair has just finished recording their first album at Revolver Recordings in Los Angeles, where they worked with Grammy Award-Winning Producer Mikal Blue and Dean Dinning of Toad the Wet Sprocket to create the album.

Now, Jaye Madison is concentrating on composing her own original music and doing live shows in and around the Nashville, Tennessee area. They have just released their most recent song, which is titled “Ride Or Die,” in anticipation of the arrival of their first album.

“Ride Or Die” is a feel-good BFF Summer Anthem. Harmonies performed by Jaye Madison soar over a fantastic soundscape with Americana and Folk musical stylings such as harmonica and banjo. The song has such a strong commercial appeal to country music fans that you can’t help but sing along.

What is your real and showbiz name?
Jordan & Madison Skinner and together we are Jaye Madison

Where are you from (hometown)
Lumberton, TX

How did you get into music?
Madison: We grew up in community theatre and choir productions. We have always had a love of music, but it wasn’t until we were in High School that we realized we wanted to pursue this as a career. We wanted to write our own music from our own perspective and reach people through the radio. That’s what lead us to Nashville.

What field or genre are you into and give a brief description of what your field feels like?
Jordan: Having grown up in Southeast Texas, it was easy to draw upon southern influences to create our own brand. Blues, rock, country, and folk all contribute to our contemporary soulful Americana sound.

Madison: We write music from a vocalist’s perspective which makes for songs that are heavily focused on the vocal melody line soaring over the chords with really tight harmonies.

Who or what inspires you or motivates you? And why??
Madison: Learning from others who pursued their dreams and found success is always something that inspires me. The idea someone can have a dream and work to achieve it makes the process for us not seem so overwhelming. People make their dreams come true every day!

Jordan: Keeping a collaborative spirit and aligning ourselves with those who have an abundance mindset. We love to surround ourselves with those who believe there is room for everyone at the table and we can all help each other reach the top of the mountains we are climbing. Music is a team sport.

What does your current song/album mean to you?
Jordan: Ride or Die is a feel-good BFF Summer Anthem and a women’s empowerment message in every sense. This song is made to sing along at the top of your lungs on a long road trip.

Madison: Every woman has a Thelma to her Louise that she would drop everything for, and this song captures that unique bond in such a fun way. It really captures our relationship as best friends and twin sisters.

What are your hobbies?
Jordan: I’m a coffee connoisseur, and love thrift shopping for stage outfits. I’m getting more into cooking new recipes, journaling, and interior design. I like doing anything that allows me to embrace some kind of creative process, even if it’s not music.

Madison: I love gardening and puzzles! Spending time with friends outside with live music is always something I’m down for too.
