A lover of Trinidadian and Tobagonian music, Jardine Cherelle Legere, better known by her stage name “Jadel,” is an independent recording artist. As a musician, she is also a mother.
Jadel developed her love for music when she was just 9 years old. When she was a child, she was a member of both her church and school choirs. She was a member of the school choir for most of her adolescent years.
The possibility to work with popular Caribbean bands Surface and Traffik sparked Jadel’s migration to the United States.
In 2014, she worked with the HD Band’s Kernal Roberts and Machel Montano on the songs “Haunted” and “Static,” respectively, on a number of musical projects. ‘All of It‘ her Chutney Soca single from 2016, was the winner of the 2016 Trinidad Carib Breakout Artiste of the Year award.
A European tour with singer-songwriter Natalya Wohler followed as a result of Jadel’s success. During the 2017 International Soca Monarch Semi-finals, she released “D Band” which she brought to the finals.
She had a great year in 2018 with the release of two singles, “Round N Round” and “Dominate” both of which have over 1.6 million views on YouTube.
When Jadel released her single “Round n round” it was enough to earn her a seat in the International Soca Monarch Finals for the first time. The year 2018 only got better for her as she became a mother for the first time later in the year.
