I Worked For A Year At GhOne Without Salary – Serwaa Amihere
Celebrated broadcaster, Serwaa Amihere of EIB Network has made shocking revelation but wait, who could have thought of this?
Well, I know there are many people who are certainly not ready to do a thing like this unless what you want to do is actually passion-driven.
Speaking at Campus Live TV’s “The Big Talk” as part of their 3 years Anniversary, the elegant media personality made this sudden revelation and more.
According to her, Nana Aba Anamoah has been her mentor from day one and she has been there for her anytime.
Serwaa revealed she met Nana Aba after she left TV3 due to some problems she had with them and then joined EIB Network.
She narrated that she went through tough times mainly because he had little or no knowledge about what goes into the media.
She actually studied Banking and Finance at the university so you now know where she is coming from right?
“At this time that I met Nana Aba, the TV job had become a passion because I was doing it without a salary. I wasn’t getting paid”, she noted.
“I was going to work everyday reporting like a normal worker from 8 to whatever time, even sometimes earlier. No fuel, no nothing”, Serwaa added.
She however probed students of the Ghana Institute of Journalism if they would be willing to do such a thing.
Serwaa also made something clear and that was the fact that the salary wasn’t still coming even after meeting Nana Aba Anamoah.
