Hip-hop artist Irving Ampofo Adjei, better known by his stage name Headie One (previously Headz), was born on October 6, 1994.
Rapper RV collaborated with him on the song “Know Better” off his 2018 mixtape The One, which became an “underground smash” after its release.
A member of the OFB, he is regarded as a pioneer in the UK drill scene.
It’s hard to forget Headie One’s collaboration with rapper Dave on the UK singles chart-topping “18Hunna.” Six solo mixtapes and three mixtapes with fellow OFB rapper RV have been released by him.
He released his eighth and first mainstream mixtape, titled Music x Road, in 2019. It reached number 5 on the UK Albums Chart.
A tribute album to his mother’s memory, “Edna” was published in the meantime and debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart.
It’s been a year since Headie released new music after the release of Too Loyal For My Own Good, and with Came In The Scene, he responds to fan requests for a hard-hitting drill cut.
The video was directed by Headie One and DON Capitals and shot in numerous places around London, including Tottenham, where he was born and where he is a major influence. Back in action is the uncontested King of Drill.
