Hayden Haddock, a rising red dirt musician, has asked Texas country singer Jon Wolfe to aid him with his new tune “Tequila.” Alejandro Medina directed the “Tequila” music video, which was shot at Run N’ Gun Adventures in Bay City, Texas. He thought it could be the ultimate summer tune if they executed it right when he heard the rough edit of ‘Tequila,’ Haddock said of the song’s inspiration. “Tequila” is the third track to be published from his upcoming EP, which will be released later this year.
Haddock is a pathfinder in country music, doing more than 150 tour dates each year and recently opening for singers such as Randall King, Steve Wariner, Kevin Fowler, Casey Donahew, Roger Creager, and others. The songs “Tequila,” starring Jon Wolfe, “Better Than Your Memory,” and “Wind It Down,” which entered the Top 10 on Texas Country radio, are planned to be on Haddock’s next EP, which is set to be released this fall.
Haddock’s latest project follows the release of his Red Dirt Texas album, which delivered three Top 15 Texas Country hits in early 2020. The Texas A&M senior presently has over 5 million streams and songs on the Spotify playlists Texas Music Now and Texas Music Rewind, Apple Music’s Don’t Mess With Texas, and Amazon Music’s Texas Forever.
