What do you do (fashion, music, comedy, art, dancing, etc.)?

I am a musician, but I do a little bit of everything. My main professions are studio mixing engineer and theatrical technical director. As an all-around technical director, I’m proficient in many trades, from being an onsite electrician to being a light board or sound board programmer and operator. I also own a 3-room recording studio located in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia. I’ve been a photographer/videographer since I was 14. I’m 30 now, so, although I still shoot as a hobby, I don’t offer my photography and videography services out much due to my full-time responsibilities.

How did you get into what you do (music, modelling, art, dance, etc.)?

As a kid, I wrote poetry and made beats. Habits are hard to kill. I picked up the drums and oboe during 4th and 5th grades, and I continued to play them until I left college. Another big thing about me is that I have had an Apple computer since I was 2 years old. I also went to college for computer networking, so I’m very proficient in the field of computer networking and service. I specialise in Apple products. I’ve owned every Apple device created since the PowerMac G3.

What field or genre are you into and give a brief description of what your career/profession/ field feels like?

Well, I love rap. I gravitated to it as a child, even though I was only allowed to listen to Christian music. I still love rap, but I’ve grown to love every genre outside of rap. Elevator music really moves my soul. Being a theatrical technical director has also opened my eyes up to various genres: classic rock, showtunes, country, blues, and more. I’m usually the soundboard and lightboard operator and programmer during productions.

Who or what inspires you or motivates you? And why?

Jesus is my biggest inspiration. Also, business motivates me. This music industry fascinates me. Learning how to sell music in the current market structure is fascinating. I wake up thinking about how to find an artist’s true customer acquisition cost. I’m part of a label called GTM. We have many artists on our roster. I’m using my music as a test run for gaining analytics so that we can drop future projects with ease. New music is also my biggest motivation! I love listening to the new underground artists in my city (people like Payton Ape, Lihtz, OT7 Quanny). I still listen to all the new music coming out (Kendrick Lamar, Jack Harlow, and Future all just dropped🤯). I like to study everything coming out as I make my music. From the lyrics to how this person’s vocals sit in the mix. I’m studying everything and incorporating it into what I do! I’m a millennial, a true product of the internet age.

What was your first project and who did you work with and in which year?

My first project was called “Least Expected”. It was my public introduction to the music industry. I worked with a lot of different producers that I know, and I dropped the album on Black Friday 2020. The only featured artist is my brother, Ike Beats. You can look at who he is as a genius.

How many projects do you have so far?

I just released my second project, entitled “What The Hell Is This” on February 4th, 2022. It’s 20 tracks but only an hour long, so it’s a great listen for road trips and flights! I plan on dropping another project this early summer.

How long have you been doing what you do?

My whole life at this point!

What do you look out for in this line of business?

I’m always on the lookout for new opportunities. I’m always looking to meet new artists because I’m a resource for them. I know a good portion of the people doing music in Philadelphia. I enjoy helping artists perfect what they do, learning more about the business, and creating more amazing content! I also run a music video channel for Philadelphia and tri-state artists. It’s called Paradise.Mobile on YouTube! I plan on expanding to more metro areas. I’d like to create the new MTV Jams!

Have you won any awards or been nominated for an award? Or in short, any achievement? both in and out of your career path.

Not personal yet. But it’s coming soon.

My business has received a platinum certification for the song “Even” by Chris Brown for my business partner Blake Winterz’s work on that track.

What is this new release about?

This new release is based on my love for luxury vehicles and luxury women. As a videographer and musician, I was envisioning riding in a brand new SRT® Hellcat with the baddest female by my side. But sometimes you have to let it go.

Who and how many people worked on it?

This song is 100% produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by me. I plan on shooting a video for this song!

What can your previous and new audiences anticipate from you in the future?

I plan on releasing new videos very soon! So stay tuned! I have more music! Better music! I also have much, much more video content coming as well!

Young and vibrant man I am, God fearing, warm at heart. Music is bae food is life. If you've seen this then you know me!!!
