El Gant Finally Drops Ras Kass Assisted Song “Pageants”

If you thought El Gant was finished with you, you were mistaken because he has returned with renewed vigor.

His new single “Pageants” says it all, and he definitely needed some help. Ras Kass nailed it, there’s no doubt about it.

The song is all about avoiding pageantry and gimmickry in furtherance of artistic expression and introspective lyrics which is very evident in their verses.

The rappers never cease to disappoint as they outline their love of hip-hop that flows far beyond a desire for acceptance.

It also includes a music video directed and shot by Mo Stafford that perfectly details the song’s concept and idea. Catch a glimpse of the visuals below.

Gant’s unrivaled rhyming abilities earned him the title of four-time reigning battle champion on MTV’s Direct Effect (DFX) where over one million viewers recognized his abilities and voted online.

El Gant has shared the stage with hip-hop legends Kool Keith and Ice T, as well as headlining acts Jay Z, Eve, Non Phixion, and The Beatnuts.
