Disco Dreams Returns With A Brand New Single ‘Cryptic [K]night’

Musician and producer Disco Dreams is from the Northeastern Ohio region. He creates a psychedelic-dance ambience with his ethereal voice and electronic sounds.

An intriguing and emotional journey, no matter how he expresses it, awaits him. He aspires to share his passion for music with others in order to inspire them to enjoy the present moment unapologetically.

His goal is to promote love via his music and visual art in order to encourage others to live in the now and not worry about the future. Following the publication of his first album, “Mystic Daze” he released his second album. He improvised the tune by using as many instruments and synthesisers as he could find.

Having a quick talk with him allowed me to learn more about his musical background, goals, and aspirations.

What is your real and official showbiz name?
Disco Dreams

How long have you been making music and what attracted you to it?
2 years. Always loved and appreciated music. Then covid happened and I was determined to learn a new hobby I loved!

What were your first project and the people you worked with and which year?
My first project was the release of my debut indie/dance album, Mystic Daze in October 2021. I have played with local DJ friends and collaborated with the artist sketch for my first music video, Transparent. Now streaming on youtube.

Who or what inspires you or motivates you? And why?
Honestly, anybody, that is passionate about something they love and gives it they’re all in learning and creating. From any type of art, I think you can learn new traits and desires that fuel other people that can help you stay creative and motivated. At the moment I have been listening to Grums newest album and Elder’s the Gold and Silver Sessions, but it’s always changing.

What are your friend’s and parents’ thoughts on your career in singing?
My friends and family are very supportive. I love collaborating with my talented friends and family for cover art and proofreading/editing before I actually upload an album/single.

What are some of the challenges you face in your career path?
The greatest challenge is just making time and balancing work, fun, and a great hobby. But, I am very dedicated and if I stay focused over time I don’t see why I won’t be great at playing live as well. I can only play my music live at the moment but would love to DJ.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
The internet is one of the greatest tools. Now that I already released my debut release I just hope to slowly grow my fan base. Having higher budgets for my new releases so it has more of an impact on a larger crowd as well.

Do you have any advice for aspiring songwriters?
Yes, Just do it! And keep doing it! And with time you will make it sound how you want it to with practice.

What is your current project about?
I am currently working on my second studio album that I would like to be signed by a label before I release it independently.

What does this song mean to you?
This song is meant to hopefully bring happiness to someone. I was really sad about the war and I just wanted to make it so nice and easy to listen to art that hopefully brightens someone’s day.

What are your hobbies?
Well, music is #1. But I am very active and am always doing something outside. Whether it’s camping, hiking, or some kind of fun activity with my pups.

What do you do aside from this profession?
I drive 4 days a week for FedEx delivering medicine.

What is one message you would give to your fans?
I appreciate anyone who has ever listened to my projects!! And I really hope to just keep growing and sounding better with every release. I truly just think art is beautiful and I’d be so happy to even make one person’s day better with my music.
