My first project was with Jeremy Abbot and I got to do a track on one of his songs, then he produced it and released it. It was an amazing thing for me to be on original music and not just playing covers in a club. I’ve worked with artists Lucky Bailey, Miami73 and Dubl A the bassist.

Who or what inspires you or motivates you? And why?

Honestly, Kenny G inspires me, He’s a legend in the saxophone world and proved you can do it your own way. I really look up to him. My music might not sound like his but he was a huge influence on my music. I want to be a recognized saxophone player like him. He’s really my role model for my music career and business.

What do you look out for in this line of business?
All I’m really looking for is to make the most beautiful music I can make that I like and the people who help me make it like. I have no real goals but the self-satisfaction in making great music. Some songs get more play than others but I love every song I make.

What are some of the challenges you face in your career path?

My main challenge is getting my songs out there to be heard. I think that they are really hard to fit into a genre or playlist sometimes, but I can’t help how they turn out once the process of making a song starts. The internet has been a massive help for me.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted the music business?
It’s way easier to release and promote your music because of the new online platforms, and for meeting other artists.

Do you have any advice for aspiring songwriters?
My advice to songwriters is to make what you love and what sounds good to you, and that’s it. The more music you make the better you get, dont stop.

What is your current project about?
My current project Solar Sail is about travel into space, inner space or outer space, it’s a smooth themed EP that’s made for each song to take you on part of the journey from launching the Solar Sail and back to earth again.

What are your hobbies?
My hobby is really making music. It’s my obsession.

What do you do aside from this profession?
Aside from this, I was a professional diver. When you are underwater it’s really quiet and you get lots of time to hum your own music in your head.

What is one message you would give to your fans?

To my fans I would say, thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart. I have a strange style of music that does not really fit into anything and if someone can appreciate that its music is made for its own sound and nothing else, well I really appreciate that. I’m amazed every time I get a compliment.

My fans are my true validation that I’m not alone and just a weirdo playing strange saxophone chill jams. LOL!!
