It’s commonly underestimated how much stress and struggle parents endure so that their children can live pleasant lives.
But since they recently released the song “Feel Better,” Devan and Lindsey don’t share the usual sentiments.
According to Devan, I wrote this song for my parents. I moved back in with them during quarantine, and for the first time in my life, I really saw them break down and experience some difficult things. You always picture your parents as pillars – strong, stable and supportive – but it was only when I got older that I realized they’re as vulnerable as the rest of us. It seems obvious, but it’s a facade that we all want to hold on to as kids. Don’t parents always have a solution to every problem?! They were both going through a tough time and I felt so helpless. I wanted to see them happy and didn’t know how to fix it.”
You’ll soon feel the same experiences she had when creating this tune, and you may even possibly connect in some way with this situation.
While the name implies, there is enough food for thought to ponder as your body gets into Devan’s upbeat vibe.
She is on a mission to impact souls with her latest track, which is an attention-grabbing song, to put it mildly, to broaden her boundaries.
Her perspective was shaped early on by the English cultural landscape, where she was exposed to a wide range of music and performing arts.
She draws inspiration from contemporary artists like Dominic Fike, Frank Ocean, and Billie Eilish as well as classic artists like Fleetwood Mac, Coldplay, and John Mayer.
