Daniel Steer is the frontman of the Marshall Records band Reigning Days and a multi-talented indie-rock composer, producer, performer, and musician. The band has played in major venues throughout the world.
Daniel was the main vocalist for the indie rock band The Quails while he was still in his teenage years. The band opened for Muse during their homecoming event at Seaside Rendez-Vous, and Daniel was the band’s frontman. His many endeavours in teamwork have been broadcast on radio, television, and both large and small screens, as well as in print and advertisements.
In 2019, he released his first solo album and marked the occasion with a tour in support of Feeder and solo performances in London and Exeter. His most recent track “Rebel” is a rock/pop/country mashup that celebrates independence and the wide road.

This is the first single that Daniel Steer has put out since the publication of his solo album just before lockdown, and it is called “Rebel.” Steer and Pam Sheyne should be given credit for the incredible sound that the song has, which is an intriguing mix of rock, country, and pop.
Pam Sheyne is a New Zealand songwriter, producer, and mentor, and she is perhaps best known for her collaboration with Christina Aguilera on her debut single “Genie in a Bottle,” but she has also worked with other artists such as Camila Cabello, Miley Cyrus, Demi Levato, Seal, Jason Derulo, and The Back Street Boys.
We had so much fun writing and recording this song together and I think you can hear that in the music. Rebel is a stomping and rebellious yet joyous ode to freedom, escaping mundanity and hitting the open road!
