CEO Of Miss Commonwealth Ghana Reacts After Alleged Assault On Finalist

The grand finale of the Miss Commonwealth Ghana was held on September 7, 2019, at Alisa Hotel.

But recent reports indicate that some unfortunate incidents have already happened these past few weeks.

According to a finalist, some GHC500 got missing whiles they were in the pageant house and they had to visit a shrine to know who had stolen that money.

She went on to say the CEO on Sunday, October 6, called her to come to her house to talk about her trip to the UK.

The lady got to the CEO’s house on Monday only to be told she was going with 9 other contestants to a juju man’s house in Koforidua.

The victim said, “We were 10 in number and the juju man gave us an egg to with powder to throw if you are innocent yours will bring out but if yours will turn out cooked I did and mine turned out cooked I was asked to naked myself by the juju man and the started beating me with cutlass and put my finger into a boiling oil after given an egg to swear not to tell any third party if I do I will die.”

Just after a Twitter user with the name @NoraGyempeh posted the story, the official account of Miss Commonwealth blocked her.

According to further reports, the uncle of the victim had been attempting to reach her all day and the matter was reported at the Koforidua Regional Police station who afterward arrested Miss Duncan.

When reached out, the CEO of Miss Commonwealth Princess Duncan declined to comment and also threatened to sue any media organization that may publish the story and her photo.
