He wants more people to be aware of his artistic abilities so he can share his talents with the world and receive the respect he deserves.

Although So Confused comes from MilesVP’s personal life experience, the song is relatable as most of us has been through the phase, the confused state of dilemma. The song was written and produced in his home studio

Drawing inspiration from people like Joey badass and j cole, he started to make music in his own. He learnt how to mix, master, sing, rap, and record his own music.

What is your stage name
My stage name is MilesVP

Is there a story behind your stage name?

My first name is miles, and my middle and last name initials are V and P so that’s how I came up with my stage name.

My full name is Miles Vincent Pless, which is why I also go by MVP sometimes as well.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration through the emotions of life and through finding new music

What was the role of music in the early years of your life?

I grew up playing guitar and piano as well as rapping and singing to my favorite songs throughout school, especially while taking the bus.

Are you from a musical or artistic family?

I am from a very musical and artistic family. My mom was in her own band as a singer and my dad was the guitar player.

Who inspired you to be a part of the music industry?

I’d say people like Joey badass and j cole are artists who inspired me to start making music of my own.

How did you learn to sing/write/to play?

I learned from self practice and YouTube.

What was the first concert that you ever went to and who did you see perform?

The first concert I ever went to was actually a pat metheny concert.

How could you describe your music?

I’d describe my music as being a mix of rap and rnb, with some afro beat and Latin pop/dancehall thrown in.

Describe your creative process.

My creative process is usually coming up with the beat first, and freestyling over it and finding out works best.

What is your main inspiration?

My main inspiration is seeing people bring themselves out of nothing by doing what they love, in this case making music.

What musician do you admire most and why?

I admire Joey badass the most because it seems he has the soul of OG rappers like biggie and Tupac, but also combines it with a boom bap hip hop style which i find very cool.

Did your style evolve since the beginning of your career?

I’d say my style has evolved, from starting out making more upbeat rap songs to getting into more rnb and afrobeat type songs. Im still evolving as we speak.

Who do you see as your main competitor?

I don’t see any competitors, i feel that I am In my own lane and want to create something unique to me.

What are your interests outside of music?

My interests outside of music are history, fashion, sports, fitness, and learning new things in general.

If it wasn’t a music career, what would you be doing?

Instead of music I’d probably be pursuing something in history, science, or art.

What is the biggest problem you have encountered in the journey of music?

The biggest problem for me is staying consistent and growing my following, although things are starting to get better.

If you could change one thing in the music industry, what would it be?

I would change the bad vibes/dark energy a lot of the music has today.

Do you have any artistic collaboration plans

I don’t currently have any artistic collaboration plans, but probably will soon in the future.

What message would you like to give to your fans?h

The message I’d like to give to my fans is that i feel that we can all relate to one another in different yet similar ways, and I hope I shine through to you all. I appreciate and love anybody and everybody who has positive things to say and takes time out of their day to listen and enjoy.
